Okay, first of all, it would be great if #AllLivesMatter would drown. Now, don't say "Britney is racist!1!1!" I'm not, I'll tell you WHY I don't like ALM.
-Black Lives Matter Exists for people who aren't black, and are black. Meaning, multirace. But it focuses more on black lives because they are oppressed. Black people are oppressed, they're shot, and gunned down for shitty reasons.
-Saying ALM to somebody who is pro back lives/BLM, is like slapping a baby in the face that wants to eat. They want victory, and you're just saying "BUT WHY BLACK LIVES?!?!?!? WHY NOT WHITE LIVES?!?!?!?"
Take this for example, if somebody says "SAVE THE RAINFOREST!" They're not saying, "FUCK ALL THE OTHER RAINFORESTS!" They think that all of them are important. But they're focusing on ONE rainforest, and one race.
So if you go up to a black person who's rallying and doing pro black lives, which is cool, by the way. And say, "But, what about white lives?! You're oppressing other lives beside black lives by not including other races in your title!" I will probably be there. And I will probably smack you in your face.
Long story short, it's okay if you say, ALM, and not realize that it's racist and oppressing black people. But as long as you're looking for the chance to correct it, I'll forgive you. But it's not okay to know that BLM = All Lives Matter, and then tell somebody ALM. It's really not.
