—eleven—whirlwind
TO BE THE early riser at exactly five in the morning was ironic; to think I was the usual heavy sleeper. When I looked at my side and saw Belle there, watching her sleeping—serenely beautiful and utterly enchanting, I felt like my day was already complete in an instant; of course, my sunshine was glaring beside me with a radiant gold no one could pass over.
Remembering our agreement last night to watch the sunrise, I quickly peeled off the blanket off of me and swung my legs aside. So addicted was I that I couldn't just start the day without my daily dose of caffeine, and soon I aimed for the kitchen and made myself and Belle some coffee, both with cream, before we prep up to watch the sunrise.
I was just about to think of some wake-up pranks so I could play my antics to Belle, my fingers almost hugging the mugs, when in came a back hug. Cocking my eyebrow, I glanced behind my shoulder, now seeing my girlfriend angling her head on the side to look at me rather distinctly.
"Good morning, handsome," she greeted, her voice soft as silk. Belle's lips pulled up into an amused smile when I grinned at her, and she haphazardly poked the faint dimple on my left cheek. "Is it bizarre that you woke up this early?"
I chuckled. "I know." She detached herself away from me and climbed up to the nearest counter top, and so I dragged her coffee close to her side while I occupied myself sipping mine. "Coffee?"
"Yes, plea—" she trailed when I suddenly took it out of her reach, causing her to make a grimace. "Hey."
I put my own coffee down and put my palm up in the air, as though asking her a second. She was watching my movements, and I tried to suppress a crafty smile. "You wanna drink this?" She pulled a jerky nod, seemingly adamant about having her own dosage of caffeine for the day. I smirked, and if there was a mirror in front of me, I would probably see a thousand stars twinkling in my eyes. "Okay," I said, shrugging, only to take a sip of hers and craned my neck, in hopes of passing the drink off by means of using my mouth.
Belle immediately punched my arm and I gulped the coffee down before bubbling with laughter. Teasing her was so much fun; her reactions were too priceless. With a frown on her face, she snatched her coffee but before she could so much as glue her lips on the rim of the mug, I marginally tugged her arm aside. "You're honestly depriving me."
"No morning kiss?"
She rolled her eyes. "Morning kisses aren't romantic, they're gross. Do you really think it's nice to kiss someone who haven't brushed their teeth yet?" Belle briskly backhanded her mouth when I only smirked at her words. In my opinion, she didn't have a morning breath at all. Yes, perhaps, but I didn't smell anything bad, and so I removed her hand away. "Don't," she said tersely, "I haven't even gargled."
I smirked. "But I'm going to kiss you anyway."

So after we drank our coffees, Belle wheedled me to carry her to the bathroom. At first, she was planning to take a quick half-bath when she told me it was too freezing and it all ended up—okay, I'll hold that thought. What? I'm a sex-god. But hey, in my defense, Belle had given the insinuation, alright; before someone starts pointing a finger.
The next minutes, I now found us out of my house and down to the silent street. Chabe scurried, his ears flapping up and down while I followed suit and Belle was trailing a few feet behind. The dog then wagged his tail when I caught up to him, encircling around me. I chuckled a tad bit when he sniffed my running shoes, just as I glimpsed back at Belle. She was walking in that sluggish gait of hers, the grimace she had on causing a stir in my stomach.
