Olivia POV

Leaving Wal-Mart and arriving to my family's cleaning
business I walked inside finding Savannah in the lunch
room with a bagel and frappe from Starbucks waiting for
me.

"What took you so long?" She asked.

"I ran into Tyson at the store." I replied

"That hoe ass nigga. I'm gone beat his ass when I catch him
out and about. Don't he got some drops to be making? Or some
crack to be selling? Nigga always worried about you he need to
shop around and leave you alone."

"Exactly." I agreed

"You got class today?"

Shaking my head no I started to eat my food. Until my big brother
Remmy walked in.

"What it do Savy love." He said completely ignoring my presence.

"Hey Chocolate drop you just getting in?"

"Obviously." He replied smartly.

"Don't get fucked up." Savannah said in all seriousness

"My bad, yes I just got in I'm checking the finances and taking calls
today." He replied.

"That's more like it." She smiled.

Getting up I walked over to the trash can throwing my trash away and
returned to my seat.

"So you not gone say nothing to your little sister?" Savannah asked.

"My who." Remmy asked.

"Remmy that's messed up." Savannah said with a disappointed look
on her face.

"I'll speak to her when she stops lying." He gave me a look and I rudely
returned it.

"First of all never is she a lier. And secondly you're more of a stupid motha
fucka if you believe anything that comes out of Tysons nasty ass mouth.
And you wrong for the way you treat Liv because of him and you know it.
Stop being a little ass boy and grow the fuck up before I beat yo ass."
Savannah said becoming angry.

Raising both hands in the air and backing away Remmy replied. " Hey
that's not the only reason I don't fuck with her and you know it. But
you believe what you want I'm going to work." He walked away.

Throughout their whole conversation I was going to say something but
I decided against it. Knowing that Sav would've jumped out her chair and
would've been ready to fight if Remmy got to disrespectful, and knowing
Remmy anything is possible because he is as disrespectful as they come.

Although me, Sav and Remmy have the same mom. Sav and Remmy have
the same dad while me and my younger sister and brother have the same
dad. But they both consider my dad theirs as well since he's been in their
life since they were kids.

"I don't know what to say about him." I spoke to Savannah

"Me neither." She replied.

Me and Remmy don't talk anymore because there were times when I ran
to him telling him how Tyson would abuse me and he'd completely brushed
me off. He said that I was lying and that he doesn't believe that Ty would ever
hurt me. And when the bruises became more visible he said that I had to be
doing something to him for him to put his hands on me. And he's honestly
wrong because Ty would beat me when he couldn't have his way. Or got
jealous when other men would talk to me even though I was never checking
for them. Even though Remmy works at the family business, he stays running
the streets slanging with Ty.

We also don't talk because Remmy use to be in love with my best friend Shay.
I didn't want them together because Shay doesn't really do relationships and
is far from clingy. She got pregnant with Remmy's baby and sadly a few months
later she miscarried. Although she was in love with him as well it became to
much for her. So she broke up with him, and packed up all her things and
moved to Atlanta a few weeks later. And now Remmy blames me for their
break up when I had nothing to do with it.

"So how's college life treating you?" Sav asked me interrupting my thoughts.

"It's good... Ummm about that."

"What?" She asked.

"I won't be attending UH anymore."

"Come again?" Sav asked confused.

"I'm moving."

"To where?"

" You know you ask a lot of questions." I told her.

"Olivia." She semi yelled.

"I'm moving to Atlanta."

"What's wrong with you being here in Houston?" She questioned.

"Houston will always be home for me, but it's time that I leave and start
finally working on myself... From a distance."

"What about school?"

"I'll still be going just to another college. I already filled out my transfer
papers I just have to move and wait until they receive my info from the
other college."

"So when do you leave?"

"Next Tuesday." I rushed my words.

" Liv that's in 5 days." She said with a sad look on her face.

"I know and I will miss you but I'm ready to go and start over." I said truthfully

"I feel. Well I'm happy for you lil sis you know I'm always a call away and down
to ride when you need me. I got yo back. And if there's anything you need just
let me know." She said standing up.

"I meannn you can help me pack." I said getting up as well

"See now you asking for to much I ain't say I'd do all that. But I got you.
Now let's go to work before mama fire us." Agreeing I hugged her an d
we got to work.

I'm going to miss home. But it's time to start focusing on myself. Finally.
