Chapter 4

Sienna's POV

Shortly after Mia left, I recieved a text through. Mia always managed to leave at least on thing at my house so I figured she would be asking me to drop it off. I flipped open the screen and my eyes widened in surprise as I read Aaron's name.

 Wanna meet up tonight?

I smiled, I had him hook, line and sinker

Um... I'm not sure if I'm free. Maybe another night?

Playing hard to get had always been a strong point of mine

Ok, then :(

I sniggered, what kind of guy let on that he was annoyed someone rejected him?! That was completely against the rules of being a player! 

I clicked off my phone and logged onto facebook. Immediately, I noticed that Mia was on

-Hey Mia!-

-Hi! Hru?-

-Pretty gd, u?-

-Awesum. Hey, I have a d8 2nite, mind telling me what to wear?-

I smiled to myself

-Sure, if u tell me his name ;) -

-No-

I sighed. I hadn't expected it to work

-Ok so how long have u been going out? Is it a formal or casual?-

-Three weeks and I'm pretty sure it's semi-formal -

I thought to myself for a moment before replying

- Wear the blue dress. U know the 1 that's a V cut and goes dwn 2 ur knees?-

Mia thanked me before logging off. I guessed it was going to be a pretty boring night for me. I gave in to my homework and got started on my geography.

Mia's POV

I quickly donned the blue dress Sienna had suggested and did my makeup. I kept it simple with just a little eyeliner (nothing too obvious), some mascara and a bit of lip gloss.

The doorbell rang at around seven and I ran down to answer it

'Hey' I was kind of breathless, but I hoped it made my voice sound husky rather than desperate

Aaron chuckled 'Hi'

I quickly checked him out while he looked around me. He was wearing a button up dress shirt with a cute sort of pattern on it. He had jeans on his bottom half and I was glad I guessed correctly when I said semi-formal

'So where are we going tonight?'

Aarons eyes snapped back up to my face and I realised he had been giving me a once-over, just as I had done to him a few moments ago

 'Just to a certain restaurant I know. I think you'll like it'

Butterflies started in my stomach. I could never resist Aaron's charm

'Haha... umm cool'

Aaron placed his hands on my shoulders, leading me towards the car. He opened the passenger side for me and as his hands left, I could feel the area where he had touched me burning with heat. He slid into the drivers seat started the car

'So how have you been?'

'Oh, pretty good... you?' 

'Good, good'

I fidgeted a bit in the silence that fell over. Aaron and I didn't know each other too well yet, but I guess it could be said that there needed to be an awkward stage before progression.

Aaron reached over and clicked on the radio. The screen showed 104.1 and it immediately began to play stereo hearts. Kinda awkward but really cute too. I vaguely heard Aaron humming under his breath

'You sing?'

He snapped his head to mine looking surprised 'I've been told I'm alright'

'Let's hear' I grinned widely and he looked a little hesitant before joing in the chorus

'My heart's a stereo

It beats for you so listen close

Hear my thought's in every note

Oh-oh

Make me your radio 

Turn me up when you feel low

This melody was meant for you

Just sing along to my stereo

Thank you! Thank you!' Aaron nodded his head to an invisible audience and I giggled

'That song was dedicated to Mia'

I sobered up immediately and looked at Aaron. He smiled down encouragingly and I grinned back. Aaron took one hand off the steering wheel and placed it over the top of my hand for a moment before taking it back. My grin just widened

'You're cute Mia'

I laughed 'And you're sweet'

We arrived at the restaurant and I took a look around. It was a japanese place. 

'I take it you enjoy sushi?'

'Yeah, how did you know?'

Aaron smirked 'Last time we were out to lunch, you couldn't stop looking at the place across the road'

I blushed 'Sorry! It's my favourite food'

He laughed 'No problem, I'm glad you like it!'

We walked to the counter and Aaron gave his name to the waiter. His name was Charlie. Charlie led us to our table, a nice spot in the corner of the restaurant, and passed us our menus

I decided quickly on a miso soup and a teryaki chicken for an entree, and then gourmet sushi and sashimi for the main. It wasn't too expensive and since sushi was relatively tidy to eat, I wouldn't have to worry about getting it all over me.

'Hey Mia? Do you wanna share a two person meal?'

I blushed at Aarons question, not even sure why I was doing so. It wasn't that bigger deal 'Umm... sure?'

'We don't have to...'

'No! No I'm happy to!'

'Shall we share the gourmet for two then? And a teryaki chicken of course'

'Sounds great!' I smiled at Aaron

'Are you ready to order?'

We looked up at the waiter, his pen poised on his page

'Sure. Do you want a miso soup Mia?' I nodded 'Two miso soups, a teryaki chicken and a gourmet for two'

The waiter walked away and I felt Aarons leg come to rest against mine. I bit my lip, but didn't pull away

'So what music do you like to listen to?'

The drive home was much more lively than it had been on the way there. The ice had melted away and Aaron and I were talking like we had known each other forever. 

'And here's your house'

I pouted at him and he laughed 'You're so cute Mia!' Aaron tapped my lip gently and we both tensed. His eyes dropped down to my lips and I blushed. Before I knew what I was happening, I found myself leaning in Aaron pressed his lips to mine. We kissed for a moment, just enjoying the feeling. Aaron pulled back and stroked my cheek

'See you Mia, I'll call you soon'

'Sure' I smiled. My stomach was fluttering and I felt like I was floating. I forced myself out of the car and up to my door

I slid against it. Each time he kissed me, it felt as good as the first. How lucky I was to have Aaron
