~♢KAIRU♢~

"Here is your dinner, Master."

The maid placed the various dishes on the long polished table, before bowing and returning to the kitchen.

The 14 year-old smiled, taking his silver cutlery. A maid at his side draped the dining cloth gingerly over his lap.

Ever since Kairu was left in the mansion to take care of it, his days of living were simple and pampered. His daily chores were taken care of, and his three meals had always been delightful with endless dishes in front of him.

But then something was annoying Kairu.

"Why has he not come back yet?" Kairu growled, and the maid beside him bowed.

"Boss had vowed to come back by tomorrow," the maid explained. "Please be assured."

Kairu huffed, before biting into a pieace of meat. "Fine. But if he does  not come back by tomorrow, the consequences will be terrible. Remind him." The maid nodded, and left the dining room.

Right after that, the phone started to ring shrilly.

"Not him again," Kairu groaned before picking it up.

"What do you want, M-" Kairu stopped as soon as he heard a familiar voice. "Oh. It's you."

The voice at the other end laughed. "Yes. Its me. How are your days?"

Kairu munched on his salad. "It'll be much better if you come back right now."

"Not possible."

Kairu left his food unfinished and left the table. He walked out of the mansion, and onto the fine grass, looking out at the scenery of hills. Despite having his huge mansion built on the tallest hill of the countryside, it was still hard to see whats beyond the horizon.

"Oh well." Kairu sighed. "Take your time."

"So, what did he say?"

Kairu looked at the orange and bright sun."Him? Oh. Nothing much. Same thing as always. But you know, I won't let that bastard fool me."

The caller chuckled. "Expected, from you. Anyway, do you have a new slot?"

Kairu frowned. "No. Unless... you're talking about that. But for that... your mind talent has to be incredibly high."

The caller sighed. "I know. But I found one."

The boy groaned, rubbing his forehead. "Matt."

"I'm being serious."

"Joining the organisation is already hard, you need to find someone with unique potential. Joining the group? Your potential must be so high it has to make a legacy."

"She is already a legacy. I think... her mind, brain and body. They must have linked the past, seen the present and predicted the future in order to make such perspectives. We cannot miss this chance. Its almost as if she was born to do this. Almost like her eyes can see through the whole thing."

Kairu thought for a moment. "Fine. But, I told you, if someone doesn't have potential and knows about the organisation, that person must be eliminated from this world."

"I know, and I won't disappoint you," Matt insisted. "After all, the motive of why I temporarily left your side..."

"Yes." Kairu replied. "The importance. Come back immendiately tomorrow. There are still missing people. If, just if, the person you are talking about really does have that type of potential you described, maybe she just might be the one."

"I will not fail you, and come back empty-handed," Matt said. "I already told you."

Kairu laughed bitterly before throwing the phone down the hill, and it clanked through the grass and disappeared into the green trees. Kairu walked back towards the marble door.

"Oh well. Its not like this world is real anyway."
