~♤CHARU♤~

"Goddammit."

Charu slinked into the peak hour crowd of the train and hid behind the dozens of businessmen and women. The doors closed, and for a moment she thought she was safe.

"Yo."

That familiar voice that had been trailing her made her groan. It had been beside her, no matter how crowded or deserted she went.

Charu eyes Thew-thew, a look of disgust splashed over her exhausted face. "You stalker, get off me."

He just smirked and whispered in the usual mocking tone, "I'm still waiting."

--Flashback--

Charu smiled, feeling great as she somersaulted through the air. A feeling of freedom rolled through her veins the fluffy clouds and blue sky were all that she could see.

"Dude!"

She gasped, not realising that Thewthew had jumped along with her. She facepalmed, thinking that he was truly, and idiot among idiots.

"What are you doing? Save yourself!" She screamed, but Thewthew just rolled his dark eyes.

He grabbed her arm, and for a moment Charu wondered if Thewthew knew what she was going to do. No way, she thought.

"Get... off... me!" Charu yelled as they neared towards the ground. They were less than three metres off from the ground.

"Not happenin'." He said matter-of-factly. He was strangely calm, not even the slightest bit of panic in his voice, even might seem a bit... bored.

No more time. Charu gritted her teeth, thinking that she had no choice but to save a life and let him tag along her.

Into the other world.

She saw that slightest ripple in the air and kicked her legs toward it, and that mysterious ripple that she stuck her leg into bulged and grew bigger.

Thewthew smiled. "I knew it."

Three. Two. One.

"Librarsi!"

They shouted in unison, to Charu's surprise that Thewthew actually knew what was going on. For a moment she was guilty for doing that.

But as the ripple opened and both of them fell inside, she said heck to guilt, and fell into the other world.

It was a tunnel of colours, both falling bodies sliding uncontrollably as their efforts to claw at the surface and slow down were effortless.

There were no friction.

Everything was soon a blur, the colourful cylinder-shaped tunnel that transported them to the other world became a cloud of darkness.

It was pitch-black.

For a horrific second, Charu thought something had gone wrong and she was dead. Thewthew was nowhere to see in the black darkness. Even with her eyes open, she couldn't even see anything. Not even herself.

Then a light shone, and before she could even think, her surroundings were once again full of colour. Beams of sunlight shone against her skin, and the grass that she was lying on was green and healthy.

Thewthew grinned, offering her a hand. She rejected it, standing up her hand. A nearby sign read "Mayflower Park".

Thewthew sighed and looked at her right in the eyes. A slight breeze sent both of their hair swaying.

"So. Have you decided whether to join?"
