Today's the day I get back to business. I left at 7am before Vivian had to go to work. Before I left I made sure she was tucked in and kissed her cheek after. I left a little note on the kitchen counter in case she gets worried.
Once I get to the Tower I knock on the front door, "Code" someone says from behind the door
"H" is the only thing I say and the door immediately opens
"Boss" says the kid who was behind the door. I stare at him for a moment remembering seeing him before "Brad,right?" I ask
"Uh no sir. It's Brandon"
"Right"
I start walking down the long dark hall leading me straight to the meeting room. I notice few men lingering in the hall curious and once I give them a glare they turn their gaze away.
Not even knocking on the door I open it to see almost everyone is here I'm guessing.
"Welcome boss" I hear a chorus going around the room
"It feels good to be back" I gave them a nod
"Take a seat haz" Louis said pointing to the seat at the head table
Once I sit myself, Liam comes to stand beside me, "Here's your gun. We took real care of it when you were gone"
Taking the gun in my hand I feel the adrenaline rushing through my body, my heart pumping with excitement
