I walked the glistening and wet pavement as the rain finally gave me a chance to . I checked my watch strapped upon my right wrist. It read 6:22AM. I'm pretty early because it's the first day of school. Though, it's pretty ironic--I am undeniably early and almost at school, but I am not excited. I am now in the 7th grade. My teeth chattered aback as raging winds of different directions hit my white pale flesh.

After a long walk and zoning out for what seemed to suck the breath out of me, I am finally at school. The time read 6:31AM. The walk only took me nine minutes. I let out a humongous sigh as I finally open the door. Just like every first day, the room grew silent the moment I stepped into the door. What's with the stare? This is what I hate the most--receiving all the cold stares from each end of the room. I got pissed off of the thought.

"Nice to see you too, I guess?" I muttered under my breath. Note the sarcasm on that statement of mine.

Familiar faces were all around me saying their hi's and hello's. After what seemed like a celebrity's interview, they finally sat down. I picked a sit at the very edge of the room, isolated. I always liked the corner, no I liked simply being at the back and alone. I checked my watch for the third time this day--6:34AM. Time is flying by rather slowly. I think I'll learn to live like this--no friends, no competition, no expectations, no . . .

"Hi!" He held out his hand hoping to get shaked. Well, I shook his hand anyway, since he just interrupted my train of thought. He gave me a smile. I was actually taken aback. Someone is actually smiling at me? His rich brown eyes are now locked into mine . . . mesmerising.

"Sorry, I didn't catch your name. You can call me Carlo." He, once again, showed his precious pearls forming quite a wide smile.

"Just call me Naomi . . ." I hesitantly blurted out. He turned to me once again. What is he going to laugh at my name? Go ahead!

"Cute name . . . " He chuckled. That was actually a very cute chuckle, for a very wierd remark.

Who is he?
