Smoke, fire and dust surrounded me as I tried to escape the house. Coughing and wheezing, I turn my blurry eyes towards my left only to see a pair of green eyes looking right at me.

Startled I backed away from it, only to see that face is of one I'm very familiar with, Ethan Grey, my best friend. His eyes are wide open but lifeless. That could only mean one thing. Dread settled in my heart and my eyes grew wide and moist. I slowly inched towards him.

"No... No no no! Ethan! Ethan wake up!! Open your eyes you frogface!" I said as I shook his body and slapped his face and tears ran down my face.

Turning his body around I see a gaping hole in his chest. Tears continue to run down my face in an endless trail and my hands are now smeared with his blood.

"No Ethan... You can't leave me. Forever and always remember. Come back Ethan." I told him even though some part of me knew that he couldn't hear me. Sobs wrecked through my body as I prayed and prayed for him to wake up.

I heard a crash and some cursing from downstairs. Straining my ears, I can finally hear all screaming and the roars outside. Fire is all I can see when I looked out the window in my room.

What happened? We were all just playing here... Mommy... Daddy... Where are they? That must be them. They must be coming up to help us.

Filled with hope and excitement, I look towards Ethan. "It's going to be alright Ethan. Mommy and Daddy are here. They will save us Ethan. Come on wake up!" I told him, reassuring myself as well as him. Yes, help is coming.

Looking towards the doorway I yell out "Mommy! Daddy! Up here!!"

The door to my room slowly opened with a creaking sound. I looked out into the hall way but it was too dark. Though I could feel a dark aura surrounding the doorway. It felt like something was watching me. It was waiting for something.

Confused and scared, I slowly got up from my position kneeling on the floor next to Ethan and rose up on my shaky legs. My head was hurting and I could feel a sticky liquid gently sliding down my face. Holding on to the broken table beside me for balance, I slowly made my way towards the door.

"M-m-mommy? Dadd-d-dy? Is it you?? Please come out. I don't want to play anymore." My voice stuttered out and my body trembled.

Sinister chuckling greet me. The dark aura surrounds the room as a man in black enters. He lifts his head towards me and our eyes clash. I gasp as I notice his eyes are in red colour glowing brightly. He gives me a creepy smile that sends chills down my back.

"Mommy and daddy are not here little one. But don't worry I will take care of you. You wouldn't have to worry about anything for the rest of your life." He comes closer to me as he says this. Trying to reach out to me. I back away to the wall behind me. Whimpering and crying out for help. Looking for a way to escape. Only to find none. More laughter greets me and he tells me one thing that I will never forget...

"There's no way to hide little one. No way to escape. You will be my way to greatness. You are going to be the world's greatest evil Mark my words, Princess." His eyes glow even brighter and his teeth turn into fangs and all of a sudden he lunges at me.
