[FAQ] #1 Q: Can #GOT7 members date?
A: According to JYP himself, they have a dating ban for at least three years. It's not written in their contract but JYPE artists treat this promise seriously. Dating when you're a rookie can damage your image and make you lose your fans. You can't date openly for at least 3 years, or until you become famous - as JYP says - it can last longer than 3 years. Jackson said in a Chinese interview that there's no dating ban but artists like him choose not to date to focus on work and career.
