Chapter 5

Yaaay it's my chapter now. Hope you'll like it. There will be a change:

I'll write it from Character's pov. I mean really the character's pov.

And maybe these chapters will be longer. Or at least I hope so.

Percy

After Annabeth left us alone I turned back to Apollo. He looked very pleased with himself so I couldn't stop myself from smiling at how cute that was. He caught me staring at him so I immediately turned away and looked at the meal.Then we started eating but we didn't say a word to the other. It was so awkward, I had to start a converstation.

 "So, umm, how was your day?"

 "It was good. Pretty good, actually. " he said smiling at me. "No, in fact it wasn't."

"What?" I asked really confused. "Why?"

"Because I've been so worried. But now it's pretty good to tell you the truth."

"About what?"

"Well, kinda about this...this date?" He said questioning whether it actually was a date. "I mean for me it's a real romantic date."

"I see." I said then we were just eating for another silent 10 minutes. 

"And yours?"

"Hmm?"

 "I mean how was your day?"

"Ohh it was good." Now it got even more awkward.
I kept thinking about what he said. Did he really have serious intentions or this all was just part of the let's-get-into-Percy's-pants plan? I couldn't figure it out. I doubted that he would be interested in me. Why on Earth would he? Besides I'm just a pathetic human. It must be about sex then. Well he even has quite the reputation. I must be another trophy.
I must've looked sadder because he immediately started talking.

Apollo

I was eating my salad, trying to figure out how I should give him my present and how to start a conversation to not sound too desperate when I saw his face turning into a constant frown. I started panicking, I might've ruined everything already. But what have I done? I had no idea where did it all go so wrong.
"You don't like the soup?" I asked now concerned  about my choice of the restaurant."We can order something else if you'd like."
"No it's pretty good actually. I was just thinking." He stated and I felt relieved and even more anxious at the same time. Then was it my hair? "About what you said."
"Oh, did I say something I shouldn't have?" I started panicking. Have I said a haiku? Aphrodite made me promise that I wouldn't tell any haikus on the date because it may ruin everything. "I'm deeply sorry if I've offended you. I really didn't mean it. I'm just trying so hard...Gosh I never tried this hard. I just want this date to go well. And I mean it."
"No, no no no. Everything is perfect. Or kind of perfect. I'm just... I meant what you said about this date. That you really think it's a real and romantic one. I mean it's truly classy. I like it. I was just not aware of your intentions."
"My intentions? Oh...I didn't think we'd be talking about it this early but then okay." I looked dead in his eyes. "I want to date you. I want to spend as much time with you as possible. I want happiness and I feel like you could be the one who finally brings it to my life after what happened with...never mind." I got carried away a little bit and even the thought of him had made tears forming in my eyes. I'll probably never get over what happened to him.
"Woah, woah. Let me stop you there. Are you really serious? You want me? Like me, me?" He asked with his mouth open, looking hella cute."But why me?"
"That is a stupid question, sorry. You're brave, honest, always there for your friends and basically anyone. You're gorgeous and smart. A lot of people may think you are dumb but I know they're wrong. You're funny and loyal. You're everything a man could ask for."
He looked at me with awe in his eyes then I leaned closer over the table and kissed him.

I hope you liked it, it was my first chapter, and I'm sorry it's really short. I hope I'll write longer ones, but the thing is I've just realised that I have wanted to continue this adaptation from fanfiction.net so I wanted to post something. Anything really.
