Mystery Shack Meeting

Dipper heard his Gruncle Ford and attempted to get up and go downstairs to him. His new deer legs tangled uncomfortably under him when he tried to leave the bed.

 "Great Uncle Ford! Please come help!" He called helplessly as his head and torso fell out of the bed with his deer half stuck in the covers. "Ow!" He yelled hitting his head on the floor. He rubbed his sore head and... "HORNS?!?!" He yelled feeling the antlers on his head. "GRUNCLE FORD!"

Gruncle Ford got on his new paws and tried opening his wings. "I'm coming Dipper, wait just one second," He called up the stairs. He walked past the living room and almost missed seeing Stan on the couch. "Oh! Stanley, didn't see you there," Ford said looking at his brother, confused at why he had a blanket on. 

"So you go bit by the monster bug too?" Stan joked lifting the blanket off. 

"Your a gargoyle?" Ford asked looking him up and down.

"Well your, what? Some kind of sphinx?" Stan shot back at him. "Whatever's going on, I think Dipper's got it too, he's screaming like a girl... Although that's kind of a daily occurrence," he laughed. Ford frowned and slunk up the stairs, trying to use all four paws. 

"Dipper my boy, are you okay?" Ford called through the shut door. 

Dipper looked up at the door. "Define okay," he said bitterly. Ford came in and Dipper gasped at his Gruncle's appearance. "I guess we're in this together?" Dipper said trying to move his deer legs again. This time they fell out of the bed and tangled on the floor. Ford came o his side and knelt down. Gently he pulled each leg from the pile and untangled them. 

"Now," Ford said helping Dipper up. He wobbled and fell again. "Where's your sister?" He asked holding on to him for support. 

Dipper felt along his antlers again and then Ford's question sank in. "MABEL!!" He screamed. "MABEL WHERE ARE YOU?!?" He panicked trying to walk around the room in search of his sister.

Mabel heard her brother's scream and woke up in the bathtub. "I'm in the bathroom bro bro," She said trying to get out of the tub. Before she knew it Grunkle Ford was in the bathroom, and was he a sphinx? 

"Mabel, long-story short, we're all monsters. I'm a sphinx, Stan is a gargoyle and your brother is a cervitaur. And you appear to be a mermaid," He said inspecting her.

"First off, what's a cervitaur? Second of all, I'M A MERMAID?!" Mabel squealed. She looked down, and indeed she had a tail and a top that closely resembled her swimsuit. She flicked her tail in the water and watched it gracefully swirl on her command. 

"A cervitaur is half deer half human," Ford explained. "And speaking of which, I must go help Dipper, he's having trouble adjusting to his new legs," He said turning to leave. 

"THIS IS THE BEST DAY EVER!!" Mabel screeched, flipping her tail back and forth. 

"Yeah yeah," Ford called from the room. "We need to figure out how this happened and how to reverse it," He said trying to help Dipper up to see his sister.

"But whyyyyyyy??" Mabel whined. "I wanna be a mermaid!" She said flipping her tail over the side of the tub. 

"Because," Ford said pushing her tail back into the tub. "Being a mermaid, means you have to stay in water," He said opening his multi-colored wings. 

"Besides, I'd like to actually walk," Dipper said falling again. He pulled his hat off his bed and attempted to stand again. Ford ran to his side and this time Dipper was able to stand. 

Just then there was a knock at the door. 

"I got it," Grunckle Stan called from downstairs. He opened the door and there stood Soos and Wendy, well sorta Soos and Wendy. 

"So you doods are monsters too," Soos said shaking his hand and making goop drip down. Wendy stood in the doorway with her arms crossed over her furry chest. 

"Can we come in? I don't want anyone to see us.." She said trying to hide her mouth.

Great Uncle Ford came down trying to support Deerper. "Okay, I'm calling a meeting," He said.

"So your saying the whole town is monsters?" Wendy asked curling her tail around her. 

"That's exactly what I'm saying. When Bill made me think he was my ally, he made me build a secret room. He didn't tell me what the room did, but after I realized he was evil, I hid the room away and never went into again. I think maybe some one has found there way into it and pressed the button, but who?" Ford said scratching his face with a claw. 

"Do you know how to reverse it?" Dipper asked, still trying to fold his legs just right so he could sit down comfortably. 

"Aww can't I be a mermaid for just a little longer?" Mable asked from the fish tank, performing flips and turns in the water.

"I'm afraid I don't know how to reverse it," Ford said sadly.

"NO! You have to change us back!" Wendy barked, her canines showing in her outrage. 

"I'm sorry, it could take months, maybe years to figure it out," Ford said getting up. "Even then I'd have to start right away."
