A huge commitment

Sneezy's POV

Bashful wants me to take care of a child with him and I don't have any idea how! Where would we find food for the baby? How do I change a diaper? How do you even get that thing to sleep?!

Does Bashful expect me to know this stuff? I have no experience at all! I'm sorry Bashful but I don't anything about babies!

"Will you Sneezy?"

I gulp. "Y-Yes...I'll help. But I don't know how so don't expect much..."
He rolls his eyes. "Don't worry I know how. Doc taught me everything." I'm surprised. "What? Doc taught you how to raise a baby?"

He nods. "Doc wanted me to marry Queen Delightful, so he taught me everything he knew about babies. It was a lot actually...but it will be good for when we have to take care of this baby."

So Bashful's like a mother? "Oh... I see."
"I don't think it'll be long anyway. We just have to get this whole situation figured out and soon we could possibly go back to Jollywood and return the baby back to it's parents."

Back to Jollywood?... I don't think I could ever go back... I don't think I'm cut out to take care of a baby... Especially not so suddenly...

Bashful looks at me. "Is something wrong, Sneezy? You look a little pale..."

I can't do this. "I'm sorry Bashful but maybe I'm just not cut out to take care of a child... Maybe that baby would be happier in the hands of someone who cares about him..."

I trudge off into the woods... Not even realizing what I was doing. Just trying to get far away from Bashful and that little creature.

I'm so sorry, Bashful...

Tension had been building up inside Bashful. Perhaps even tension was building up in Sneezy and Bashful's relationship. Would he still love me after what I've done? Sneezy pondered the whole way of his long walk in the woods.

Bashful sighed. "Well I'm sure I can be fine on my own... Right?" The baby smiled at him. "Of course I'll be fine..." Though he only said this to calm his nerves.
