Those good days are gone

No POV

"What do you mean your my mother? I have two dads who I love very much!"
"It's a long story...we have plenty of time so I'll tell you."

Chrys reluctantly sits down. Sherri takes a breath. "A long time ago I met a man who won my heart." Chrys didn't know what that had to do with anything. Though she didn't want to interrupt so she stayed quiet.

"After a night of heavy drinking..." Where is this going? Chrys thought. "He took me back to his home... And well I'm sure you know what happened then..." Chrys blushed and rolled her eyes.

"Just get to the point..."
"Okay, a few weeks later I was in for a surprise. We both found out that I was pregnant with you."

Chrys' mouth took the shape of an O. "You're my birth mother?!" She pointed at Sherri. Sherri nodded. "Yes it's quite a surprise. Did you ever think you'd meet me?"

Chrys frantically shook her head. "No no my fathers told me I appeared from some magic fairy as a gift! I didn't know I was created by sex!"

Sherri chuckled. "All babies are created from sex. You didn't think I magically made you appear did you? If you did then I don't have that power."

"Well then... Why did you give me away? Was it because I was an accident? Or was it because you wanted my dads to have a child?" Chrys needed answers.

Sherri sighed. "I haven't finished the story yet. When we found out I was pregnant, the two of us were excited to be parents, seeing that we both loved each other very much. But then one day, my lover disappeared into another place and never came back. I was so heartbroken that I couldn't bare to raise you. So I gave you away."

Chrys felt bad for her mother. "Do you know where he is now? M-My real father?...." Would she be able to meet him? Sherri wiped a small tear from her left eye.

"Now that's the other thing I wanted to tell you..." Chrys looked her mother in the eyes. "I'm listening."

"No maybe I shouldn't tell you... No now is the time." Sherri closed her eyes then reopened them and spoke.

"Your birth father was named Brad. He is also Prince Chesner's uncle who disappeared with no explanation. But I know how he disappeared. And so do your fathers." Chrys was more concerned about the fact that she may be in love with her own cousin, though her real fathers disappearance seemed more important.

"Your birth father was killed... By your father Bashful..." Chrys felt her heart stop. She felt such a strong emotion of anger that no word in this story could describe it. She clenched her fists tightly. "He killed my father?!? Why would he do that?!? I knew he was hiding something... Both of them!!" Chrys yelled so loud that the birds in the trees flew away.

"Well it was long before they were even Kings... You see, they used to be part of a group called 'The 7D'. In that group, it was more of a family, they would protect their queen from any danger in the kingdom. Everyone was so happy and loving. Until Bashful changed that all. He got jealous of Sneezy and Brad's friendship. So he tortured and killed Brad. A year later, on Sneezy's birthday, Bashful and Sneezy fell in love. Then the next day, the policeman arrived in Jollywood saying they had reason to believe that Brad's death was not a suicide, but a murder."

Sherri paused. "Now this is the important part. After all the anger of Bashful being accused of a murderer built up in Sneezy, he couldn't take it anymore and stabbed a detective. His sanity was lost and would never be regained. In a panic, carrying Bashful, he ran out the cottage door and into the woods. Bashful of course feared for his life. He headed back to cottage a few hours later. Sneezy became a villain and joined the Glooms. They were known as Jollywood's enemies. Meanwhile, a sadistic detective tortured Bashful until he was mind broken. He ended up killing Sneezy, then himself. "

Sherri half smiled. "And that's where I come in. Since I am a Sakido spirit I gave both Bashful and Sneezy a second chance to live and start their whole lives over in a new town. Thinking they had changed after all they've been through. I thought they wouldn't murder ever again. I was wrong." Sherri covered her face.

"Both of them have recently begun murdering again..." Sherri's voice weakened. She broke down crying. Chrys hugged her and cried too.

Bashful was watching them the whole time. He'd been looking for Chrys then found her talking with Sherri. He listened to Sherri tell Chrys Sneezy and Bashful's dark past. With each word, Bashful got angrier and angrier. How dare she tell Chrys what we've tried to hide from her for all these years!

Bashful angrily hurried inside the castle to tell Sneezy what they were up against.
