After breakfast, I hurried over to the stable to feed Ash. She nickered as I scooped some Legends Performance Pellets out of a bin. I dumped it into her bucket as she dove into it. I looked at the clipboard hung up on her stall. The note attached to it said:

Report to Farm Supplies Office for Bull riding gear
I glanced at my phone. 8:34. I was okay for time. I stood and stroked Ash for a minute as she ate her grain. After that, I walked over to a large wooden shed that I had seen Kyle, Justin and Jimmy walk into. I stepped into the building and looked around. There were hooks with bull riding helmets, vests, and chaps on them.
Above each hook there was a piece of duck tape with a name on it. I saw my name across the room. Kyle was getting his chaps on right beside of my hook. I really didn't want to talk to him, but I didn't want to be late either. I quietly walked over and pulled the chaps down. I pulled them on and reached for the vest.
I felt cold hands on where my shirt was above my hips. I jerked away. I turned to see a smirking Kyle. "I saw you staring this morning," He said in husky tone. I jerked back even farther and hit the wall. He leaned in and whispered "I hope you like what you saw," He was inches from my face. His face slowly descended to my lips and I screamed. "Help!" I tried to jerk away, but he gripped my hands to the wall.
"Hurry!" I yelled even louder. "Shut it, girl," He tried to cover my mouth. I delivered a kick to his unmentionables and he fell to the floor. "Don't you ever mess with me or any other girl again," I hissed as I grabbed my vest and helmet. I quickly exited the building. I saw Fisher and Eli running toward me.
"Indie right?" Eli said when he got they got to me. I nodded. "What happened?" He asked. "We heard someone scream," Fisher said. My heart skipped to hear him talk. "Um, Kyle was getting a little too intimate." I said. "Where is that moron," Eli looked behind me. "He didn't hurt me," I quickly explained. "He might be a little sore," I chuckled. "We're just going to the arena," Fisher smiled at me. "Wanna join us?" Eli cut in. "Sure," I said as I zipped my vest up.
"It's too freaking hot in this thing," Eli complained as we headed for the arena. I saw a gray haired man passing out mouth pieces as we neared. "That's John Grassy," Fisher said. "He's the bull riding legend at Tequila Farm," "He's been to the PBR?" I asked. "Honey, He hasn't even been to the SEBRA," Eli bellowed. Fisher and I laughed along.
John spotted me and shook his head. "You're Indie?" He asked skeptically. "In the flesh, sir," "Hope you can keep up," He mumbled as he handed me a mouth piece. I rolled my eyes. Not only was I going to keep up, but I was going to kick these guys butts.
climbed onto the shoots with the other boys. I saw all the boys from my cabin except Kyle. It wasn't until John started talking about this month, that I saw Kyle limping toward the shoots. He nodded at John. "You did a number on him," Fisher whispered. I choked a giggle.
Kyle looked at me sheepishly. I smirked. "Smells like respect," I thought.

John stood outside of the gate as Skylar helped me onto my bull. "He won't buck much," Skylar reassured me. "I got him a couple times last year. I smiled at him. He chuckled because I had my mouth piece in. I nodded at Justin, who was opening the gate. He slammed the gate open and the bull sprang to life. I held on with my knees and thighs like i did when I rode Ash bareback.
I heard the buzzer and I jumped off the bulls back. I ran to the fence and stayed there until I saw the bull run back to the pens. John was scratching his head and staring at me. So were all the other boys except Fisher and Eli. They were whooping and hollering.
Eli threw his hat at me. "That was pretty darn good," John smiled at me. He held out his hand. "Welcome to the Tequila Farm Bull Riding Team,"
