Chapter 5

On the other end Law had already left the strawhat's ship. The strawhat's seemed to have recovered slightly, from the loss of their nakama but none of them could stop thinking about her. I can say the same about Law too.

Lucy was an interesting woman. She was strong, pretty, nice, funny, kind, selfish, idiotic, smart, optimistic, adventurous, silly and dumb -but that's pretty much why they liked her.

Itsuki was trying his best to live normally but the thought of her still lingered in his mind from time to time. There were other people as well, around all the four oceans and the grand line who knew Lucy, but of course none of them thought she could possibly die.

The Government didn't know that either, since Lucy normally doesn't do much commotion, unlike Lucifer. So according to the Government the top three Fumetsu are still Lucifer, Lucy and Sakura. Oh and by the way, nobody except Sakura knows that Lucifer and Lucy are blood-related siblings. Itsuki kinda has the hint but he doesn't completely know.

You see Fumetsus are kinda rare. Not many people even know about them. All the Fumetsu stay in hiding, neglected, ignored and feared by society.

Anyways, I should be getting back to the story.

Lucifer and Sakura were done discussing the plan.

"Are you positive the results will be worth it?" asked Lucifer.

"I'm not even sure if it's gonna work out, but we might as well give it a try. I feel it's worth it. Or you can just sit around if you want" said Sakura, not really in the perfect mood.

"We can't be sure how we're going to bring her back, even if we do find her. She must willingly come back, but for a random fumetsu I think dying is better. For Lucy I can't really say. If we can somehow play around with the useful words, and say something that hits the heart or something and manage to persuade her, I think it's possible. But I'm not quite sure if it'll work by just the two of us. Lucy can be pretty stubborn sometimes, you know" said Lucifer.

"I think I can gather two more people" said Sakura.

"...You know what I'm saying, right? They should be someone who knows about her and the truth, and s/he must be willing to go in as well. Lucy never had much connection with Fumetsus so I'm guessing they're humans. Don't forget to tell them they're risking their lives for this. I don't want any scaredy-cat companion who'll be nothing more than a burden"

"Don't you worry. The people I have in mind are much better than that. But one of them might be complicated to persuade to come but I think I can do it."

"Fine. I'll start the preparations by tomorrow. For now let's go to my castle and get a proper good night's sleep" said Lucifer.

"As you say"
