Allison Hale

I ran and ran until I couldn't breath. While I was running my freaking wolf wouldn't shut up. She kept whining. So I finally gave up. I stopped near a lake for some water but a few minutes of admiring the scenery I hear something.

I turn to once again see my mate... Not even out of breath. I get up to leave again but his voice stops me.

"Please listen to me... Please" I couldn't stop myself. I turned again.

" y.. You have 5 minutes"

" that's all I need. Allison please I know I haven't been the best mate." I give him a look. " ok so I haven't really been a mate at all but I really do want to start again." I observe him. His eyes so close to tears begging me to believe him and his hair messed up tempting me to run my hands through it. When will these feelings stop.

A few minutes of us observing each other I finally decide to talk. " I.. I think I can give you a chance"

" really thank you thank you" he starts to advance towards me but I stop him.

"But you have to prove yourself I need to know your not just lying. Waiting for me to trust you then ripping my heart out"

" Allison I would never. Trust me. I really do want a mate. Please please trust me "

" I trust that you will try your best to prove it to me" with that I walk away heading back toward the pack house.

Half way home I prepared myself for Martha's lecture. I walk through the main door continuing towards the kitchen. My eyes catch the coach and I can't help the flashbacks that come to mind. My MATE on that couch with another girl.

I get lost in my thoughts not noticing Martha is standing there waiting for me to speak. I open my mouth but Martha beats me to it.

" where have you been missy. I have been asking everyone about you. Where were you?"

" I was..... I was with..." I start but I get cut off.

" she was with me" I turn to see the my mates mother, the Luna.

" well then, thank you Luna if it hadn't been for you Allison would be in a lot of trouble right now" Martha turns and walks away leaving me with the Luna.

I slowly turn. Curious and frightened at the same time.

" Luna.. Why would you" again she cuts me off

" Allison do you really think I don't know where you were and.. With who" I try my hardest but I can't stop the blush that reaches my cheeks

" now now it's nothing to be embarrassed about I mean he is your mate is he not?" I nod not having the courage to actually create words with my mouth. " but Allison I must tell you I am quite happy my son got such a wonderful mate I could hope for anything better"

" Luna if you don't mind may I ask you a question"

" of course"

" do you really think I am a good mate for your son. I mean I am an omega."
