Going for a run did not calm down my wolf. It's been 2 hours since I left for my run and my wolf is even more anxious. The weird thing is my wolf is thinking too fast for me to understand.

Right now I am sitting in front of a pond where I used to come as a child when I was upset.

Maybe I should try to talk to her I thought.

'Havana calm down. Tell me what's wrong.' I said screaming in my head trying to be heard.

'I can't' she said thinking and talking even more. Making my head hurt.

'Havana please clam down your making my head hurt.' I said again screaming.

'Alright' she said sighing loudly.

'Whats wrong?' I asked.

'Well....you see... I mean...'

'Havana just spit it out please your scaring me.' I demanded.

'Ok. Well you know how we already turned 18 so we can find our mate anytime?'

'Ya what about that. We only turned 18 like 2 weeks ago. No body finds their mate till later.' I said confused.

'Ya well I think we found ours'

Shocked. That's the only feeling I felt. How could I find my mate so early? Wait that's means that my mates in my pack.

I couldn't help the thoughts that filled my head.

What if he rejects me? What if he thinks I am ugly? What if.

Crack

What was that?

I felt my wolf growling in my head. Slowly I turn my head. I find 6 wolfs surrounding me.

I slowly get up. Trying to walk away I turn to the right to walk but I am stopped my a brownish wolf growling at me.

'Havana who are they?'

'I don't know'

They started to move even more forward when suddenly a big black wolf is standing in front of me scaring off the other wolfs.

The brown wolf jumped on him first clawing at him trying to injure my hero. The black wolf threw him off.

After about 20 minutes of them fighting finally the 6 wolfs ran away with their tails between there legs.

The black wolf turned around. He looked in my eyes (that were full of tears) and went behind a tree. A few minutes later he came out behind the tree.

Me being surprised was an understatement. Standing infornt of me was the soon to be alpha, Alex.

Could this get any worse. I thought before my wolf whispered the one word that changed my life.

'Mate'

I am screwed. I thought before shifting into my wolf and running away towards the pack house.

Right now I was walking around the woods trying to see why my wolf wanted me to come out here then go to our birthday party.

I walked for a few more minutes and when I was going to turn around I smelled it.

Rouges

Rouges are dangerous wolfs. They are wolfs that don't have a pack they are usually wolfs that let their inner wolf take full control. Also they also can just be wolfs that are kicked out of their packs or wolfs that decided to leave.

Taking off full speed following the rouges scent.

About 10 minutes later I see 6 wolfs surrounding a she-wolf. Not paying attention to the she- wolfs scent I got straight to kicking some rouge wolf ass.

Another 20 minutes later, I finished off the last rouge and watched them run away with their tails between their legs.

Turning around I see the girl. She had dirty blonde that wasn't dyed and fake and sparkling blue eyes with tears threatening to fall.

Going behind a tree I change into the clothes that were tied to my ankle.

Coming out from behind the tree. I couldn't help but capture the eyes of the girl. She looked like my age.

All of a sudden she shifted into her wolf and ran away. Standing their I could help but feel alone when she left.

'She's our mate go after her'

Shit. My mate.
