Oliver double checked everything. Today had to be perfect for Tommy. The sun shone brightly over the Queens backyard and everything was set to the plans all there was left was to say their vows.
The guests started to file in. Everyone was dressed in their finest and every news station in the country wanted access to the wedding but only one reporter got it and that was their great friend Iris Allen West.
Once the guests were seated Oliver took his place with Ray Palmer, a rival and friend who was also their minister, in front of everyone.
The wedding march started and like clockwork Tommy came down the isle in the classiest suit he had ever seen. Oliver's eyes teared up. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with this man and he as going too.
He took Tommys hands in his and the ceremony started. It all flashed by until Ray said he could kiss his husband and did he give him a kiss. Neither of them heard the clapping from the audience, they were in their own little world.
The reception was beautiful and everyone was having a great time but the two newlyweds wanted to go and be alone. They danced and talked with all their guests but it wasn't until the night wound down that they were excited.
Thanking all their guests Oliver and Tommy got in their limo and headed for the airport where they would spend the next two weeks on a private island with nothing to bother them. Oliver kissed Tommy again and they headed out for their new life together.
