Oliver walked into his father's office. He tried to figure out what was happening from just taking in the surroundings but it wasn't going well.
"Sit down" his father said in a gruff tone. "Our company profits are slumping this quarter. We don't know exactly why but with Palmer tech and Merlyn industries this city has a lot of rivalry"
Oliver sat and pondered why this was important to him and then it hit him. "I am not going to use my marriage to Tommy to sabotage his father's company" he said and headed out the door.
Tommy heard the front door slam and went to check on Oliver. "Let me guess, your dad asked you to sabotage my company? Well my dad asked me the same thing. Look Ollie, no matter what our dads want, we are grown men and don't have to play their game. I say we buy out the two companies and form one new one" Tommy said. Oliver gave him a sly smile and shook his head yes. They got a bottle of champaign out and started planing their next move.
