Chapter 3: I Was Wrong...

5 months later your pov:
I thought everything was going to be alright at the prison and we could start a new community...... But I was wrong. I was inside helping Beth take care of Judith when all of a sudden we heard a big boom and the prison shook!! Beth set Judith in her carrier with Mika and Lizzie and told them to go get on the bus. Beth and I ran outside to see Rick talking to the governor. Carl passed me a gun with ammo. I reloaded the gun and took my aim.
Rick's pov:
"We can work this out!" I yelled to the governor.
"I'll give you till sunset to get your group and leave. You have a few hours until sunset so I'd hurry if I were you or else I'm taking this place and your group down!" The governor said smirking as he pulled out tied Michonne and Hershal out of the car.
"We can share the prison it's big enough for the both of us!" I yelled getting angry. He just looked at me and pulled out Michonne's katana and held it at Hershal's neck. I could hear Beth and Maggie screaming in the background. "Listen Governor I know you don't want to share but we have sick people in there. We could all be one big community and work thing out and work together." I said. "Please just please we can work this out!"
"Liar!" He said swinging the katana at Hershal's neck decapitating his head. "NOOOOO!!!" I screamed and started shooting.
Your pov:
You couldn't hear Rick or the Governor's conversation but you knew something bad was going to happen. You look over at Maggie and Beth to see them bawling at the sight of their dad with a katana next to his head. Next thing you know you hear Maggie, Beth, and Rick scream no and gunshots just surrounded you. You started shooting taking out 6 of the guys. "CARL!!!!" You screamed. He was no where to be seen. Maggie came up behind you with Sasha and Bob.
"Come on y/n we need to get out of here!" Maggie said tears in her eyes. I followed them looking behind me at the burning prison.
Rick's pov:
I ran to cover behind a truck. I started shooting and hoping Carl and Judith were alright. I saw the Governor standing there by himself. I tackled him punching him over and over. He rolled me over now he was on top of me punching the living crap out of me. I thought this was the end. All of a sudden a katana went through his chest. He screamed falling over. I looked up to see Michonne walking away. The governor was laying there holding his chest. I pulled out my gun and ended his life. I walked toward the prison. "CARL! CARL!" I yelled. Two walkers were coming toward me but got shot. I looked over to see Carl.
"DAD!" He ran over and hugged me. We saw Judith's car seat and ran over to it. I looked and my eyes filled with tears as I looked at the car seat filled with blood. "Let's get out of here." I tell Carl. He looks at me crying and nods.
Tyreese's pov:
I lay behind the wall shooting the best I could. Two people cornered me and I thought I was over with. All of sudden I saw Lizzie shoot them both in the head. I ran down to find her and Mika with Judith. "Come on kids let's get the heck out here!" I said taking Judith.
Daryl's pov:
I was fighting 3 guys that were pinned on me. Beth came up behind them and shot them just in time.
"Come on we have to get out of here!" She yelled pulling my arm.
Glenn's pov:
Maggie told me to stay on the bus but I couldn't. I had to go back and look for her. I went back in the prison and she wasn't there. I walked back out and started getting chased by walkers. I ran into where we kept our weapons and armory. I got on the heavy armor and grabbed axe and walked out. When I walked out I saw a girl sitting there behind the fenced door hugging her knees. "Who are you?" I asked.
"My names Tara. I worked with the governor but I regret it all." She said tearing up.
"It's ok but if you want to get out of this we have to work together and I have a plan." I said.
She say up and smirked and said "ok let's do this!"
