Chapter 14

Anna's POV

"What's your name?"I whispered knowing he could hear me.

I was tired of being lonely so I went with my last resort and tried to make conversation.

"Greg" he simply said.

"Oh"

'So much for conversation' I thought to myself.

A moment of silence passed till he broke it.

"Listen I'm sorry I kidnapped you! I never should have done that okay it's just. I hated that Travis distracted me long enough for Casey to die. I couldn't live with myself. When I saw he found his mate, you.... I mean I just.... I just-ugh you reminded me of her."

I stared at him silently, not daring to make a sound.

"Say something" he yelled.

I flinched back and then said "I understand that.... I forgive you Greg."

Now I know what your all thinking 'what are you doing kill him' 'shank him and run' but no his voice held remorse and his face held regret.

He looked up at me and I saw tears were pouring from his eyes.

Slowly he stood up, holding out his hand to me and said "let's go".




Travis' POV

We had their boundaries surrounded.

"Is everyone ready" I asked through the mind link.

A chorus of 'yes alpha' s sounded out and I new we were.

We started in at full speed.

This was it I was ready to get my mate back and kill that rouge.

15 minutes later....

The rest of my pack was finish of the last 70 or so as I went to look for my mate.

I wandered... Well ran around trying to find her sent when suddenly I caught a whiff of it. I followed it at full speed.

After of a while of following it I came to a clearing in the woods.

There they were standing in the middle. I could hear their slight conversation.

"I just to sit for a little bit before we continue k Greg?"

"Yeah yeah okay just make it quick, Anna."

What the heck there on a first name base.

I shook my big wolf head and slowly made my way forward.

Slowly Anna got up and said "okay I ready".

I quickly shifted not caring they saw me naked.

"Stop right there. Nobody is going any where. You give me my mate this instant so I can kill you slowly."

"Travis" Anna yelled running to me. She flew into my arms and said " oh Travis he was just bringing me back to you I forgave him and his was bringing me back... Too you Travis."

I wasn't listening all my mind was set on was keeping my mate in my arms. I nuzzled my face into her neck wishing I could stay this way forever. But then I remembered we still had company.

I looked up at Anna and said " Anna walk away and don't come back till I come and get you got it?"

She looked up at me with eyes and shook her head no. I growled at this but when she flinched I stopped.

"Hey listen I was just going to return her to you and leave maybe go to Casey.... If you know what I mean."

I looked up locking eyes with Greg. I said nothing just watched him. The thing was all I saw was truth no lies.

I nodded to him, if he was lying I would find him and kill him slowly and painfully.

He nodded, waved, then turned around and walked away.
