Extra Awards

Hello humans! This chapter will be all about the extra awards, how you get them, and what they are.

Extra awards are given out by me and me only. There will be no voting or anything. These are given out randomly to people who DID NOT place in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in the category their book was in. These are not given out randomly.

To get an Extra Award, you have to add to your submission that you would like to add the book you're entering to a certain extra awards category and give TWO examples of why the story should qualify for that award. If you're entering into the Best Ending award, then you will only need to give ONE example of why you should qualify for that award.

Examples:

As I turn to walk away, I felt a small prick in my wrist. I didn't bother turning around, just thinking I pricked it on one of the flowers nearby, but the small prick starts to turn into a ginormous sting. I wince, but only reach my free hand around and try reaching for the prickly thorns. I try grabbing onto whatever is holding me, but I feel a sharp pain go through my palm. I don't even dare to look back as I scream through gritted teeth.

I look at my hand that has been impaled by something bigger than thorns. There's a deep gash in my palm, making crimson blood gush out as the wound itself stings from being kissed by rain slowly falling down. I feel tears roll down my eyes as I turn around to find that the small golden flower that I used to think of as a companion is smiling at me coldly. I gasp and scream at him as I notice one of his simple, small vines had turned into a humongous vine layered with giant thorns.

Best Written ~ This is for a book that was well written grammar wise and word wise, meaning they used wonderful words to describe things in their story and took the time to use correct grammar and spelling. These people get a Gold Ribbon.

Best Plotline ~ This is for a book that has a wonderful and thought out plotline. Everything goes along in the story nicely. These people get a Red Ribbon.

Most Loved Character ~ This is for a book that has the most loved characters, meaning I just absolutely LOVE the character(s) in your book. This could be given out for most loved CHARACTER or most loved CHARACTERS. It depends. These people get an Orange Ribbon.

Best Feel Moments ~ This is for a book that made me want to sob through the heart breaking moments. The moments were overall well written and made you want to bawl your eyes out. These people get a Blue Ribbon.

Best Ending ~ In order to get this award, the book MUST be completed, so don't join this one if your book is not finished. This is for a book that has either an epic ending, a tear jerking ending, or both. The endings were thought out and went along with the story line. These people get a Pink Ribbon.

All the books that win these awards will get a follow and will also be added to the Extra Awards Winners reading list. They will also be added to the book that will announce the winners of EVERY category, but in a different chapter.
