Chapter 4

Chapter 4-

We soared through out the sky. My heart racing as we traveled across the plains, I held on tightly, afraid of falling at such a height. As my grip tightened Marshall looked down at me and quickly dropped down.

We skidded to a stop on a tiny hill.

My feet landed first as I laughed and tumbled in the sweet grass. I saw him keep flying and land somewhere else while I tumbled. I sat up, probably looking like a fool, with my blonde hair sticking out, while wearing my cozy, thin, baggy pajama's and my white hat that was strapped rather loosely on. I always wore my hat. It is a white, cloth hat that has bunny shaped ears on top. I took one of the cloth ears and twirled it with my fingers. I looked at Marshall with a soft smile on my lips. Even though it was dark, I could see him leaning against a thick, branching, tree that was on the hill slope, His hair in his eyes..smirking at me.

I stood up and walked over to the bottom of the tree. We made eye contact. But I walked right past him and started to climb the tree's branches. As I was climbing, I suddenly started to lose my footing. I hung with both hands on a branch, and the branch snapped below my feet, leaving me dangling by my hands. I let out a small frightened whimper,"Help!"
