Chapter 12-

"Marshall Lee!"

I laughed as I punched his arm lightly,"You scared me!"

He wore a jet-black tux and a red rose that was tucked into his shirt pocket. He also wore matching black pants and red hi-top sneakers.

He stood there with a smug look on his face.

"What?" I asked blinking innocently.

He put his hands on his face,"This is crazy-sonnnn~! Fionna! Your wearing a dress!"

I looked down,blushing, and rubbed my arm. He touched my arm lightly and smiled,"Your so shiny!"

He poked my side and titled his head. I giggled but I stopped and pointed out, finally realizing,"And you are wearing a tux!"

He looked away and jammed his hands in his pockets.

Hahaha.

He sighed,"Yeah yeah. Of course I'm wearing a tux, don't you know what this fair is for?"

I blinked,"Wait what?"

Marshall's eyes grew big,"You didn't know it was Prince Gumball's birthday today??!"

I groaned,"Oh my glob.. Cake.. What have you gotten me into..?"

Marshall lifted his eye brow," Uhh.. How did you get here without knowing that!? You had to turn in the invitation at the entrance. It clearly said 'You are invited to Prince Gumball's Birthday celebration'..."

I clenched my fists and muttered,"Cake had the invitations the whole time..!"

I knew she was up to something!! So this is what she was hiding from me.

I rested my hand on my forehead and sighed.

I heard Cake's voice rising above a mob.

I looked out from the shade of the booth to see Cake stretched out looking around the crazy mob.

I turned to say goodbye to Marshall..

But he was already gone..
