Chapter 8

Chapter 8-

I examined a piece of bacon I picked up before taking a bite. My eyes narrowed in satisfaction as I scarfed down the rest of the food.

Licking my lips and fingers I stood and gave my plates to Cake.

"I'm gunna get dressed!!!..OK!?" I yelled swinging myself up the stairs as I went up to my room.

I heard her say something like...

"Yeah ok..-Muttering-" I just shrugged and walked into my room.

I got my blue shirt and skirt and threw them on.

Then took my high knee socks and slipped them on my feet.

After that I slid on my black shoes and went in the bathroom to fix my hair. I just normally wear it tucked up in my hat.

So I did.

After I got ready I got ready to head down stairs again.

But, then I heard some voices talking in the kitchen. I inches toward the stairs as I tried to pick out the voices.

I was shocked.

Prince Gumball!?

What's he doing here?

"Yes, good to see you too cake." I heard Prince Gumball respond as they where taking.

"Well, what a pleasant surprise!" Cake sang.

"Hmm. Indeed, I was wondering if you would like to come to my fair this afternoon!" Prince Gumball announced.

I heard him shuffle a bit and then he asked, "I don't see Fionna anywhere.. Where is she?"

Cake just scoffed and said, "Oh she's upstairs changing, but we would LOVE to come!"

"Great!" Prince Gumball said happily, "I'll see you later, oh! And take this."

I heard shuffling and then an exchange of goodbyes.

I listened downstairs until he left. Turn, CLICK, Step... The door opened and then closed.

Moments later, I stood up as I heard my name.

"Fionna!! Come down stairs! I have something to tell you!" Cake yelled.
