'The girl'

The day was passing very slowly. Jordyn and I were supposed to go to Starbucks after school, but I couldn't find her anywhere. Her mom would then lift me back home and I would change to go to the airport. The twins' cousin, Ellie, whom I know pretty well too, had to go back to New Jersey. We wouldn't see eachothers again for like 2 months so I wanted to be there to say goodbye.

When the last bell finally rang I sprinted to Jordyn's locker, wishing I'd find her there.I waited five minutes and then texted her throught the squad convo.
Audrey: "Jordyn! Where are you?"
I then walked back to my locker and grabbed my bag. I was running to catch the bus when Jordyn answered.
Jordyn: "Ohh...I'm sorry I missed our Starbucks night😭. I wasn't at school today! I'll explain tomorrow, gtg!"
My bus left. Damn It! Now I'd have to walk. I started walking, my phone playing Jumpman, by Drake, in my earphones.
All of a sudden I saw a car stopping right beside me.
"Need a lift?"I heard Jack saying.
"Yeah thanks!"
I got in the car and then realised that Aaron and Alex were sitting in the back.
"Hey boys!" I said
"What were you doing walking?" asked Alex (such a caring boy he is!)
"I missed my bus.."
"Oh, lol! said Aaron, anyways... we're about to hit the gym... Wanna join?"
"Ugh, I'd love to, but I promised Gray that I'd go to the..." I started before getting interrupted by a text message. Talking about the demon.
Grayson: "Audrey, there is a girl sitting in front of your apartment door."
"airport with him..." I finished.
I took some time to reply to Grayson's message.
Audrey: Who is it?
Aaron seemed a little disappointed. I really wanted to go though, so I asked:
"Who will be there?"
"The three of us, plus Nate" replied Aaron
Maybe I would have time to go after the airport... I might just as well try.
"Is it fine if I only arrive at 7 o'clock?"
"Sure! said Alex, We'll wait for you!"
We arrived at Aaron's house, so he got out of the car.I could see his nephew in the window. He is so cute! Ding!
Grayson: I have no idea! But damn she's looking fine.
Audrey: I didn't invite anyone...Could you describe her?
"Hey Jack!, I said, do you mind dropping me next?"
"No problem!" he replied, smiling (his smile...OMG!)
Grayson: She's pretty😏
"Oh, boy!" I said, accidently outloud.
"What?" replied Alex
I handed him my phone so he could read. He was a bit confused.
"Who is that" he asked
"Can't help you... I don't know either." I mentioned
"I want to see her, she seems pretty!"
Alex and the twins always have crushes on the same girls. It's almost like a competition between them. So, obviously, if Gray thinks she's pretty, Alex will too. I took my phone back and checked the message Alex sent to Gray.
Audrey: She's mine!😚 -A
We arrived. Jack and Alex got down the car too, they wanted to see 'the girl'.Pathetic. We went inside the building, entered the elevator and pushed the 3rd floor button.
"You stay behind me! I wanna see who it is first." I stated
We arrived at my floor, I walked down the hall turned the corner and...
"ARIELLE!"I screamed, running in her arms
"OMG! I missed you so much babe!" she replied
We fell in eachothers' arms. Crying and laughing at the same time. Ellie, Gray and Eth got out of their apartment and joined Jack and Alex. The five of them were confused. Alex and Gray started fighting about who would get her first. Ethan tried to get into the fight but soon realised that he stood no chance; the war started way before.

I took some of Arielle's luggages and entered my apartment, still laughing and crying at the same time. I put all her stuff in the guest room, which would probably soon be her room. I was about to ask her how and why she came when I remembered that everyone was still waiting outside.
"Ari! I yelled, I have to go to the airport with Gray, wanna come?"
"Sure!"
We headed to the hallway, where they were still waiting.
