Chapter Four | KlossersThe clock that hung in my office showed a quarter to one. After a meeting I had with all of my employees, I grabbed my coat and my tote bag before heading out from my office. The afternoon air of February blew and it chills my body to my spine. I brought my coat closer to my chest and pulled my beanie lower than before. My chauffeur, Taylor already waited for me to take off.
"Thank you," I said to Taylor before slid into the car. Taylor closed the door and slid into the driver seat.
"Where to go Miss Evans?" he asked.
"Klossers please," I said and he nodded before pulled off from the driveway and headed to Klossers.
Klossers is a restaurant where people like me loves to go to because they have a very fantastic spaghetti and steak that you could ever asking for. The car stopped in front of Klossers and Taylor hopped off to open up the door for me.
"Do you want me to wait Miss Evans?" Taylor asked.
"It's okay. I maybe will stay longer here. I'll call you if we're done," I said and he nodded. I walked inside the restaurant and approached the counter that stood at the middle of the entrance door.
"Welcome to Klossers. Good afternoon Miss Evans, what a pleasure to see you again," the manager said once he saw me.
"Good afternoon to you too Greg. I'm sorry that I didn't book a table," I said, smiled.
"Oh, it's okay. We always have empty table for you," he said and I laughed.
"Thank you so much. Can I have a table for three?" I asked and he nodded.
"Anything for you Miss Evans. Follow me please," he said, gesturing me to follow him and I obligated. We reached the usual place that I always take whenever I come here and Greg helped me by pulling my chair out and helped me in.
"Do you want anything yet?" Greg asked once I settled down.
"I'll wait for my brother and his friend first," I said and he nodded before walking away.
A little later, I saw Landon walked inside the restaurant with Connor. Landon was talking with Greg for awhile before Greg pointing at me and Landon's smile turned into a grin once he saw me. I stood up from my chair and Landon ran to me before lifting me up and spun me around. He looks so different; his hair was blonde while mine was brunette. His body is more muscular then before and he is taller than the last time I saw him.
"Put me down Donnie, people are watching," I said and he laughed.
"I miss you Dee," he said, kissing my cheek once he placed me down to the floor.
"I miss you too Donnie," I cooed and he frowned.
"Don't call me that," he said and I laughed. I turned as see Connor was standing a step behind Landon with his hands in his pockets.
"Hey Connor, thank you for picking up Landon at the airport," I said and he smiled.
"No biggie Dee," he said and I spread my arms a wide at him for a hug and he returned it almost immediately.
"Don't hug her for too long ya," Landon said and we both chuckled. Landon took a seat opposite me and I followed him, with Connor following my trail sitting beside Landon.
"So do you miss London?" I asked. I raised one hand, ready to order my meal and Greg came towards us instantly.
"Ready to order Miss Evans?" Greg asked.
