You climbed from building running the tops of them, but also careful to keep light footsteps. While running the different glows of color flashed before your eyes, many times you would want to stop and look at them, but you had a special place that was better than any light on this street. You counted the seconds until the gap between two homes.
'2...1.' You put pressure on your feet uplifting yourself upwards, to maintain balance you did a 360 degree turn with your feet facing towards the next platform. You landed with a soft thud, a brushed a few strands of hair out of your face and caught your breath for a second before sprinting on your legs again. You've done this many times and learn to maintain silence while landing, only if you were trying to get there fast you would be pressure. You took a swift turn, taking a small jump. Quickly getting back into focus you thought of the next big gap coming up ahead.
'4, 3, 2-' A jumble of screams knocked you out of focus, instead of doing your normal precise jumps, you did an un planned last minute jump. By the distance between you getting closer to ground than the next roof scared you, this was a taller platform since you had gotten to the wealthier part of the kingdom. You approached the wall, but you needed to get there.
You caught the rims of the wall meeting the wall with a thud. This hit your side and you slightly winced, you saw the lights and voices inside getting closer. You used your upper body strength to pull yourself up, just as getting up you heard the window slide and the voices become clear.
"It was probably a bird dear, go back to sleep."
"I swear it was way louder than a bird-"
"Annabeth bed now." You slipping feet and the window slide down, and the light turning off. You let out the breath you didn't know you were holding in, you got back into action your mind racing with thoughts of what could have distracted you. As if it was right on cue a bunch of shouts, coming to your left. You took slow steps to ledge peeping over.
There was a crowd of what it looked like of a ton castle guards, but who the heck were they chasing. You directed your eyes forward and saw a running figure a male you guessed. You felt the erge to help him, and even so he was going to way you needed to go. You stood up looking at your pathway than at him.
"Hold on Loverboy, I'm coming."

He managed to get out of his room, taking secret passage ways around to end up in the basement of the castle. He had no idea where he was going, but any place but being trapped in his home would be nice. He let going of the windowsill his feet meeting the concrete below. He took a look around, taking his surroundings and his sense for direction. He heard echoed giggles which already decided his way to go left, around the castle. He saw the shadow of two guards stretch and get shorted which was a sign of how close they were.
He yet still heard the giggles from before. He wasn't trapped, he stared at the tall wall in front of him probably about 7ft tall. He backed up picking up momentum, then ran forward quickly grasping the edges of the wall and flinged himself over. He landed on a platform and leaned his back against the wall listening for the voices of conformation.
"Did you see that?"
"See what?"
"I think this night shift is messing with my eyes." One let out a laugh before they kept walking their footsteps He let out a breath getting his body pressed against the cold wall. He began looking forward and stepping in something gooey. He lifted his foot slowly revealing it was pudding, he groaned rolling eyes when a light shown his way.
"Hey you! What are you doing outside of the castle?" As two guards closed in around him. He panicked and sprinted, with the guards yelling after him he even heard one of the guards call for back up.
