Chapter 8

Your POV
Finally the time came to go to the ball. I wore my new purple dress, I had my hair up in a bun and I put on some light mascara. Niall, Harry, Louis, Liam, Martin and Lily were sitting with me at the back of the limousine. Martin and Lily chatted while the rest of us sat in a awkward silence. I noticed all the boys were staring at me. Harry's face had a dusted pink blush. I wanted to break the silence but I had nothing to talk about. So I decided to look out the window. The night sky glittered like my dress. In the distance I could see a sparkling lake.
Harry's POV
I stared at y/n her h/c (hair colour) in a beautiful bun. Her glittering e/c eyes she was absolutely beautiful... I felt my face heat up a little and Louis nudged me in the arm. I glance over at him and he gives me a few winks. I playfully punch him in the shoulder he laughs back then the door opens revealing the driver.
"We are here." He says, we get out and he gestures us to the door I pay him and give him a tip of $500. And we head inside.
YOUR POV
The ballroom was absolutely beautiful! The quarts floor the tall pillars and the dome roof was a nice baby blue. We walked inside and went our separate ways. I wandered around the room a little until I bumped into Liam.
"Hey y/n! Wanna dance?" He asked, I didn't have much else to do so I accepted we danced for a while. Then Harry came up behind Liam and tapped him on the shoulder.
"May I take over?" He asked, Liam nodded and walked away but then stopped and whispered something in Harry's ear which made him blush and hit the back of Liam's head.Then the music changed to the waltz. So we floated across the floor. To be honest it surprised me that Harry could dance so well. When the song ended Harry went to go get something to drink.
I went with him. Then a high pitched voice squealed,
(You guys are gonna hate me XD)
"Harry berry is that you?!" I hear Harry mutter "oh no" under his breath. A girl about 6'5 walks over she has dark tanned skin, dark brown eyes and long dark brown hair that fell down her back, she wore a long skin tight orange dress. She pushed me aside and stood next to Harry.
"Harry berry! Is this where you've been all night?" She squealed, Harry rolled his eyes,
"Yes Mia..." I heard him mutter "Trying to get away from you." She squealed giving him a big hug. I coughed making her notice my existence. She raised an eyebrow.

"Oh Harry berry, who's this lost little kitten?" Lost little kitten?! I wanted to punch her in the face and show her that this 'Lost little kitten' could fight back. Before I could Harry intervened.

"This is my friend y/n. Y/n this is my EX girlfriend Mia..." Mia giggled,

"Harry berry, you know we are only on a break..."

"Yeah, a 'break'." Harry grumbled. The three of us found a place to sit and began to chat, and as in chat I mean. Mia talked Harry's ear off and he looked at the floor. Yup, this night was going fantastic....
