Mark's P.O.V
When Sean and Chelsea had left to go pick up Tori, Daniel had chatted with me until he had received a text. He looked at it until he had quickly dropped his phone on the table and put his head in his hands. I could tell something was up. "Daniel, what's up?" He said nothing except for pointing at his phone. I took that as an offer for me to look at the text. I opened his phone and the message was still open. It read:
Hey Daniel, I've got some bad news for you. Lily Clifton has died of cancer in the early hours of this morning and because of that Jake Moston was found dead in his bedroom. It is believed to be suicide. I feel so sorry for you mate. Come home soon and have a good trip. I felt so sorry for Daniel. I knew Jake because he was Daniel's best friend. Daniel had always talked of him with the highest praise. It must have been devastating to hear that. I didn't know who Lily was. She must have been one of Chelsea's friends. There was going to be a lot of crying when they got back.
Daniel's P.O.V.
I was enjoying talking to Mark and I was super happy up until the message came through from Brendan. When I read that message, my whole world came crashing down. Jake. Not Jake. He had been my best friend since we were both in primary school. I couldn't lose Jake. I just couldn't. I needed Chelsea right now more than ever. But she was at the airport.
And I was with Mark. Mark was trying his best to console me, but all I needed right now was Chelsea. I heard the front door open and Chelsea, Tori and Sean walk in. I heard Sean and Tori sit down opposite me. But Chelsea hadn't come over."Daniel, you're scaring me. What's going on?" Her voice hitched in fear and it was heart wrenching hearing her like that."Daniel. Daniel, turn around! What the hell is going on? Please stop this." I wanted to turn around so badly, but I didn't have the will to do it. "Daniel? Please stop this...Mark? What's going on?" Then Mark stood up and I tuned out. I couldn't listen to her, because I knew, that if I listened to what she said, it would break my heart even more. I heard Mark had said something to me but I stood up and walked into the kitchen. I sat down on a stool and cried. I cried for Jake. I cried for Lily. I cried for Chelsea. And I cried for me. I needed Jake now but he was gone. I heard Sean calling me out and I stood up and walked into the room Chelsea and I would be staying in. My face found my hands once again. I heard Chelsea's voice outside and heard her talking with Sean. I heard footsteps and then the door to the room opened. I heard Chelsea walk over and hug me. I lay down in her arms and continued to cry. She whispered to me, until I sat up, and she looked me in the eyes. I looked back at her and then looked at her lips. I leaned towards her and our lips connected. She was kissing me softly, and her tongue glided across my lips, asking for her entrance. I let her in, and she wrapped her arm around my neck, playing with my hair gently. I kissed her more forcefully until she pulled away and then hugged me. Then outside I heard Mark say quietly "Dinner's ready if you want it, guys." "Coming Mark." Chelsea called back. I loved her so much right then, and that wouldn't change.

I really like this chapter. I don't know why. But this chapter is a little side chapter, because it's the same events, but another point of view. So next chapter is the one that progresses the story.
