Chelsea's P.O.V.
I gossiped and talked with Tori all the way home as Sean drove us home. He pulled up and we all got out of the car. We walked into the house and as I walked through the door, Daniel jumped up and picked me up in a hug. He set me down and walked back to the couch with saying or doing anything. I could tell something was up. Daniel wasn't normally this quiet. Mark looked at me gravely, and that scared me. What is going on? I thought. "Daniel, you're scaring me. What's going on?" Your voice hitched in fear and tears leaked from your eyes. "Daniel. Daniel, turn around! What the hell is going on? Please stop this." I could see Daniel's shoulders shaking and his head was in his hands. "Daniel? Please stop this...Mark? What's going on?" You were bawling your eyes out and you were scared out of your wits. "Come here Chelsea. It would be better if I told you in private. Daniel, do you want to come?" Daniel shook his head and walked into the kitchen. You followed Mark into the dining room and sat down with him. "Mark, please don't give me any bullshit. Just tell me straight out. What's going on? Why is Daniel acting like this? This isn't like him? What happened-" "Let me explain first. I can promise you this, I'm not going to give you any type of bullshit. Ok, here we go. Daniel received a text and it said two of his friends had died. And one of them was yours." "What?!? How? Who?" "Daniel said his friend Jake, and your friend named Lily." "No-not-not Lily!" You started to cry even harder. Because you knew why she had died. Lily had had cancer since the first time you met her. Jake, was her boyfriend. Jake would have been devastated about her death. You put two and two together..... "No, no it can't be......"
----------------------------------------------
This is a sad part of the story.
But I will say this. Even if something is limiting you, or stopping you doing what you love, never give up. No matter what. Just because it doesn't get better doesn't mean you can't make it the best you possibly can. Because everyone deserves life. And we need to live it to the fullest. (I'm talking about the incident with Lily in the story.)
