In a city that was once thought lost to war and destruction, there was now life. There were Many Ishvalans living in the  city, but also many from Drachma, Amestris, Xing, Carnto, and many other nations from around the wold. Many of the Ishvalans had come back from hiding in the ruins of Xerxes years ago, and many others who had fled out of the country brought many cultural and Ideological that differed from the original Ishvalan view of the world. Near the beginning, many thought that this would cause great strife due to differing views upon the world and would end up causing another Ishvalan civil war to break out and consume that tiny part of the world. At first, it almost did. Sides were formed and a battle was almost begun. If it had, it would have brought any thought of restoration for the country of Amestris to a grinding halt. but one man seemed to halt it. Without his effort, the history of Ishaval  would have been lost to the flow of time and truth, and another great war would have brought the already weakened nation to it's knees, allowing the surrounding nations to take the chance and conquer it.

But it wasn't. Instead, because of a single mans actions, the ancient city of Isvhal grew into a paradise of sorts and a congregation of ideals and dreams. It grew into a place that was nicknamed, the Goal of humanity by Amestris and many nations around the world. The city had grown, like central Out and Up. the religion of Ishvala was still practiced by it's inhabitants, but it's grew more lax on it's rules about Alchemy, claiming that if Ishvala were to consider Alchemy a sin, he never would have given it to man.

In the center Of Ishval stood a great green park. A single crystal clear lake stood in the center with trees dispersed every once in awhile. A grey path stretched all the way around the lake, winding here and there forming a circle of sorts. A wrought iron fence encircled the entire park. over the entrance to the park was a single sign that stated the following words,

"To forgive is to end the cycle of revenge." Bushes were on both sides of the fence creating a spectacular effect upon the park when The sun set upon the city in the evening, more so in the summer time. Near the entrance stood a single statue made of stone. It was of a two Amestrians. They wore what looked like a doctors surgical clothes, They had an arm around each others waist  as they smiled up at the sky and on a plaque below them, it stated "To The Rockbell doctor's. You saved many lives during the war, and are forever honored by all in this city.

There were many people in the park, but near the lake, at the back of the park, there stood a single house with what looked like an old man in a wheel chair. he had a grey blanket upon his lap. His once black head of hair was now grey with age and stress. His face was disfigured due to an old accident. This man looked upon the park with a saddened smile. This man was Tim Marcoh, The original Crystal Alchemist.

Tim sighed as he closed his eyes only for a second and he suddenly found himself in absolute darkness. He looked around afraid as he suddenly heard screams and covered his ears in fear  as he cowered. He tried to figure what the source of the screams were but then he realized as the room began to lighten up, that he was back in the Ishvalan war, Making the philosophers stone.

He cowered in fear as he watched, once more, the 13 ishvalans wither in pain as they had their souls sucked out of their bodies, he could see their bodies quiver as they became devoid of life. and soon nothing but silence. The only light was coming from the pedestal, upon which stood the first philosophers stone he had created He cried in anguish as the stone seemed to grow into horrid screaming faces

"Leave me alone!!!!" he screamed as the faces started to come closer, till they almost encircled him as he curled into a ball, holding onto his head tightly. Over the years he had never forgiven himself for what he had done in the Ishvalan war, nor could he. Slowly though, the screaming and he got up slowly, looking around, he found the room was white. And slowly, the room started to change.

He suddenly found he was watching all the events he had witnessed after Fullmetal had saved them all. He could see him, scar and many others going to the remnants of ishval, rebuilding, restructuring the society itself. And he saw his greatest act, Stopping another war from happening. It was at that point, he realized one thing. He was watching his entire life flash before his eyes. And he did something he thought that was not possible to him anymore. he smiled at the thought that it was all over

"Heh..... guess I did good after all in the end didn't I?"

It would be many hours before anyone came and checked up on Tim Marcoh, but when they did, It was finally sunset. The person who found him said that He had been dead for many hours. but on his face was a sight no one had ever seen. They saw Tim Marcoh, in his final rest, smiling. They say that the sunset that day was one of the most spectacular ever recorded. The news of his death was soon spread through out the city of Ishval and a great day of mourning came. For all in the city knew, What Tim Marcoh had given up, to make up for what he had done. And they all mourned the loss, of the man who had saved Ishval.
