Day 2
Darius slowly rose to a rather familiar sight. He could see the eastern edge of the city, and with it, came a glorious sunrise. Darius smiled as he covered his eye slightly and jumped onto his feet, stretching upwards, beginning a morning ritual his mother had taught him as a little child
"Gooooood morning sun, good morning world and good morning to a brand new day!" He chuckled as he started to change into his usual outfit, White dress pants, a blue t-shirt and a leather jacket he had gotten from a vendor back in Reole. He smiled as he dusted off his shoulders and looked around the room. It was a fairly average sized room, with a single bed off to one side, a bookshelf on the other, and an old oaken desk in the center of the wall with the book case. The wall was painted an odd red, almost like an old rose petal, while the ceiling was a pure white with a ceiling fan with four lights connected to it.
He looked out the window and reflected on the view. It was rather foggy, with the sun already burning some of the fog away. He could see some parts of what looked like a public park, a shopping district, and even an old market place. Even though the sun had just rose, the market place itself was busy. And with that, Darius smiled and figured out what he was going to first do with his day
Darius, as quietly as possibly got out of his room, closing the door silently as best as he could. He sneaked his way to the large living room and was surprised to see Alphonse up. As Alphonse looked up, He gave Darius a motion to stay silent and meet him outside.
As Alphonse closed the door, Darius stretched "So, what do you want to talk about Alphonse?"Alphonse smiled at Darius
"Darius, I want to see if you can make it from here to the Alchemic research institute before I do. If you do win, I'm your ticket to a free meal till you become a state Alchemist" At this Darius smiled deviously. Alphonse held out his hand
"Oh that is a deal you should not have made" Darius Shook his hand greatly
"All right, Class begins in about an hour and a half. Remember, were about 45 minutes from the A.R.I. And if you're late, You will be kicked out of the State Alchemist Exam." It was Alphonse's turn to smile deviously and Darius now turned white as a ghost. As Alphonse started to go back inside Darius realized the situation he was now in
"WAIT WHAT?!?!?!" He said angrily as Alphonse closed the door behind him and Darius sighed as he looked at the sky and then gained an even more miserable look as his stomach growled loudly in defiance to his thinking "Dammit.... I skipped eating for the past day..."----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darius smiled as he was leaving the market place. Most of the fog was now gone, and the only fog left was minute amounts at his feet. "Mmmm that apple hit the spot." He chuckled as he pulled another out of his pocket. He thought for a moment about what he had done and shrugged. "I mean, the Guy who was selling them was selling them for a freaking fortune. Plus I bet someone else took advantage of that sweet deal I made."
The sweet deal Darius was referring to was when he had picked up a rather small pebble in his opinion, though it was more like a medium size rock, and threw it hard enough to end displacing the apple in the bottom pile, causing every single apple in the pile to fall off of it and cause a huge mess and a rather silly panic as people fell and became covered in crushed apples. In all the confusion, Darius had grabbed two apples, putting one in the pockets of his pants and began to eat the other one as he strolled out of the market place with a single grin on his face.
