One Between Two

   The next day...

   I wake up feeling quite settled down, I think im ready to face my mom. Mom will be back to Paris soon, so i think its the perfect time to talk to her. I yawned at kick my blankets to the side. I get out of my bed and walk to my closet. i grab a Purple tennis skirt, A black knit crop sweater , a purple knit beanie and a simple purple vans slip ons.  I then took my clothes and put it on my bathroom's sink.  I  put my hair up in a messy bun and take a quick shower and wear my clothes quickly. i walk outside my bathroom and sit on my desk's chair. i took out my curling wand and just curl my hair slightly. after im done i put the wand back in the drawer and put on a light layer of powder, do my eyebrows and put on lip balm. i grab my black gold-studded backpack and fill it with my textbooks for today. once thats all done i walked outside my room and walk down stairs. 

   I put my backpack down on the couch and walk towards the bar/pantry. 

"Morning mom..." i say softly

she put a basket of cookies on the counter before turning around to face me. 

"Kendall... Im glad you don't run away again.." she said hugging me and rubbing my back. 

"Im sorry for running away mom..." i said letting go of the hug

"Its okay sweetheart..." she swipe her hand on  the side of my face. 

i sit on one of the bar-stool and grab a cookie. its my favorite cookie ! Caramel apple-pie cookies !

"Why do you hate Josh ?" mom suddenly asked, oh god why ????

"I'm not ready for a change...you know, i still hope for my father to come home..."

mom's expression change immediatlely. she looks super upset. 

"Well, even if he is coming home. i won't let him near you and your brothers. I won't let him hurt you all again" She said firmly. i understand her, i would do that too if i was her.

"Yeah... I know. i just want how we used to be" she just nodded

"You've got to go to school Kendall..."

I nodded and get up of my stool. i hug her and whisper "I'm okay with you being with Uncle Josh" she smiles and i grab my back from the couch and jog out of the house. I realize that i haven't talk to Aris, so i jog over to his house. I see him standing on his porch.

"Aris !" i shouted and waved at him

"Hey babygirl..." he jogged to me and kissed my forehead

"can i have a ride ??" i asked smilling

"anything for you my lady..." he said as he put his hand around my shoulder. we walk towards his car. he opened one of the doors for me and i get in.

"My mom is getting married" i said

he suddenly stopped the car with his mouth open.

"what ??? who is the guy ?"

"someone named Josh, he works with my mom. i think"

he smiled at me as he hold my hand, he kisses my forehead and ask

"shouldn't you be happy ?"

"i dont know... well im glad that my mom is happy, its just.."

"you miss your father..."

"yeah ! and i dont even know where he is now"

"well, everything is going to be okay my love... ill stay with you and ill try to make everything better..." he smiled. i smiled back at him and he starts the car again and drove to school.

we arrived at school about 15 minutes before the bell, we both greeted the security.

"Hey K !"

"Yeah ?" he grabs my hand and wrap his hand around mineand kiss it.

"can i introduce you to my friends ???" he begged

i mess up his hair and kiss his cheek "sure A"

He chuckled and hold my hand firmly as we walk to his physics class.

"kendall, meet Hendrick and issac..." he smiled at me

"Hey Hailee !" Hendrick and issac said

"You don't have to call me by my last name. Kendall is fine" i smiled to them

"Okay..." they both chuckled

"you know, it suprises me that a girl like you want to date Aris ! i mean, what do you see in him ?? Hen laughed

Aris smacked his head and well, i just chuckled, Its AWKWARD okayyy

"i dont know, but i know that i love him"

"hey class is almost starting, do you want me to walk you to class ?" aris asked 

"nehh, its fine. ill go by myself. bye A !" i jump and kiss his cheek

"see you K" he laughed
