ALICE'S POV

NO ADMITTANCE spelled the lettering on the door.

"Well, maybe this is like a maintenance room. We could find maybe a main light switch or something..." Ariana's voice trailed off. Claire opened the door, revealing... a bunch of coils, wires, and some electrical machinery. It looked like the ones that controlled lights and a sound system. Ariana stepped back, searching for her phone.

"Don't bother. We've already tried. There's no bars." told Layla. We all stepped into the closet.

"Okay everyone. Try and find a switch or something to turn on the main." Nathan instructed, casually brushing his hair out of his eyes. Dang he was hot! I tore my eyes away from him when he noticed I was staring. Giana brushed away some dust and it revealed a rusted doorknob .

"Hey. I found something. I think it's an exit." she revealed and we all crowded around her. Just then, we heard Ariana scream. We all turned to look but she just vanished. She was gone.

"We should go find her." Layla pointed out.

"Great. Run right into the arms of her kidnappers." Claire said sarcastically.

"It's a better idea to get out of here and contact the authorities." I piped up.

"What if it's too late? They could have already hurt her." Nathan asked. I scowled at this. What if he liked her too much? Stop it Alice. You're being stupid. Just focus.

"Look. We should really get out of here. The sooner we get help the better. " Claire shared and before anyone could protest she threw open the door and marched right through.
