I ducked the last second as the plate hit the door, shattering on impact. I focused my eyes on Amir and Sheena who were in a defensive stance, Iand was just as shocked as me.

"What are you doing!"

Amir smiled sheepishly, while Sheena looked away as she twiddled her fingers. Both looked liked two schoolchildren caught talking out of turned.

"We thought you were a wolf," Sheena confessed as Amir narrowed his eyes at her.

I huffed, "There is no wolf, wolves, or any lupine form comingthrough that," I pointed towards the front entrance, "door."

There was a knock.

We all exchanged glances, Sheena and Amir, giving each other knowing, but nervous looks. I stomped my foot."OK, just to put you at ease." I went over to the door and looked
Into the peephole, seeing it was Terrance, I exhaled. "See," I said turning towards them as I opened the door, "there is nothing to worry abo-"

"What are you guys doing? Didn't you hear the alarm? We are under attack! They are here! "

I stood, dumbfounded "Wh-what do you mean?"

He groaned, clutching a handful of his hair "The Lycans" He all but whispered.

I inhaled deeply, "OK, we're coming, let me get Nala."

"Just...hurry!" He dashed off. headed towards the next house.

I turned to Sheena and Amir," You guys go, I'll jusy get N-"

"I'll get her" Sheena said. I narrowed my eyes.

No... It's fine, I'll get her." I responded as she tapped her fingers against the table. I turned towards Amir," Go get the her bottles out of the fridge." He nodded slowly before dashing into the kitchen.

"Are you sure you want to get her?"

"Why wouldn't I?" I said even more wary, as my mind started to race. What did she do?

Running into the back room, I slammed the door, open as looked frantically into the crib. Sighing as I saw the resting baby. I grabbed her baby bag before scooping all her needed essentials. Afterwards, I grabbed the baby wrap, and picked her up. I furrowed my eyebrows, noticing, her raging fever. I shook it off, knowing now was not the time to deal with it.

I jogged back into the living room, seeing Amir waiting on me.

Throwing him the bag, so he can put the bottles inside, I quickly opened the door, and went outside, not bothering to close the door.

Finally, we made our way to the old high school which, was thankfully only five minutes away. Walking in, we quickly went past the men guarding the exit, and went to the closest stairways, heading straight for the auditorium.

"I have to pee."

I sighed, "Alright, just hol-"

But I have to go, now," He said jumping up and down.

"OK, just give me five minutes."

We walked into the auditorium. Inside, people were scattered, in groups according to who the lived with. We walked up the aisle until we were several rows away from the front.

Everybody waited in pitch black, with bated breathe, fearing of signalling their presence. Then there it was, a howl. It was soon accompanied by growls. I moved my hand to grab Amir's only to feel air. Panicking, I looked around lowly calling his name along with Sheena's.

I got up, walking around lightly in search of both of them.

The bathroom.

I headed straight for the door before I was pulled down.
