"Heeeeeey puppy wuppy!" Heather said while holding the dog in her arms. Nell bought her a Doberman puppy. "I'm going to name you Codak. Yes I am. Yes I am." Heather cooed over the dog.
Kia was quiet the whole entire time. No one knew why, but Heather figured it was because of the Jerry situation although she was wrong.
Kia was sitting in the backseat scrolling through Instagram. As she was scrolling she saw something that made her heart beat a mile a second. She was speechless and couldn't come to spit out her words. There was a picture of her brother's killer on Jerry's Instagram. The caption read:
"Look who I ran into. We have a lot of catching up to do. Can't wait to tell him what's been going on while he's been locked up. Ladies get at him😉"
Kia didn't know what to do. The only question that ran through her head was why is he out so soon? All she could do was think back on the past.
"Hey bro what yah up to?" Kia said while going into the kitchen to get some milk to eat with her cookies. "Nothing much lil sis. Just trynna get this English paper done. Ms. Simons making us write a three page essay on what we doing afta high school." Marcus said while cracking his fingers
"So far I only wrote fo paragraphs. I know what I wanna do, I just don't know how to write it on the paper. We have to soun professional, but yah know ion soun professional." Marcus chuckled
All Kia could do was smile because just thinking about her brother being a lawyer made her happy. He was smart and handsome. Marcus wanted to follow in his father's footsteps.
"Maybe you should just write it like yah soun. A paper don't soun good if it's not written like the person who speaks, if that makes any sense," Kia said while drinking her milk.
"Yea you're right, but I'm bouttah take a break and go down to the store and grab some things fah ma. Wanna ride with me?" Marcus said while putting his supplies in his book sack. "Sure," Kia said while grabbing the car keys.
"I'm glad you broke up with that lil chicken head ass Ashley. Bruh I swear she lucky y'all was together. You was saving her from a whole lotta ass whoopens." Kia said while texting Heather.
"Aha man sis you a trip, but I had to let that chick be gone. She was trynna mess up my name. Claiming she was pregnant fah me and we never even did it. I shoulda listened to Nell when he said everybody had her and she only wanted me fah fame." Marcus said while parking the car.
Ashley and Kia used to be best friends until Ashley started doing dirty things. That hurt Kia to the max because she thought Ashley would be better than her sisters and their mother. Kia had to let her go when Ashley started saying crazy things about Kia.
Kia and Marcus were walking into the store when they ran into Ashley. Speaking of the devil. Standing behind her was one of the football players that attend their school. Word around is that's who the baby is for and he wants to take Marcus out for messing around with his girl.
"Sup Marcus . We got a problem or somethin?" the boy said sizing him up.
"Nope, but you do." Marcus said while looking at Ashley's belly.
"Glad you could find the father of yah baby Ashley. I hope it's really him though." Marcus said while walking in the store shaking his head."It's not your problem so---" Ashley was cut off by a slap to the mouth.
"My brother not worried bout you nor yah child. We know it's not his problem and it's prolly not Eric's either. People only want you fah one thing and you and I both know what that is. Walking roun here claiming that every niggah you get with got you knocked up. I'm surprised Eric believed you cause it prolly ain't even his. You going be just like the rest of yah sisters." Kia chuckled while shaking her head.
