Kia POV
"I'm on my way to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine." I said to Heather in the phone.
"Is Jerry still getting pregnant symptoms?" Heather laughed making me chuckle. "Yes chile and it's driving me insane. He thinks he's dieing." I said rolling my eyes.
"Everynight and everyday Jerry crying about how he's going to die. He even called his mama to see if they had any kinda diseases that ran in the family that skipped over them and went to him." I said to Heather.
"Really nah Kia. Girl it's not that serious." Heather said.
"Exactly, but girl let me run in here and get this medicine. I'll call you when I make it home to my dramatic ass pregnant fiance." I said to Heather
"Bye Kia." Heather laughed hanging up.
"Good afternoon. Welcome to CVS." A man said as I walked in the store. "Goodafternoon." I said back with a smile.
"Welcome to CVS pharmacy. I'll be with you shortly." One of the workers said. While waiting, I decided to get me some more vitamins and panty liners. When I was walking down the aisle of the liners, I seen Sean standing there with some chick who most definitely didn't look like Tailor. I really didn't feel like speaking to his annoying ass, but I was going have to since they was standing right where I needed to be.
"Excuse me y'all." I said so they can move out the way. "Oh my bad ma. Didn't even see you there." Sean said looking at his phone. I tried to hurry up and grab the ones that I use before he looked up and saw me, but I couldn't find them and he had already looked up. "Ooooooooh snap. Wassup Kia baby. Girl I ain't seen you in forever." He said making me mentally roll my eyes.
"Hey Sean. Didn't even know that was you." I said to him. The chick that was with him so happen to be Heather lil cousin. Lawd the trifleness in this child. "Hey Cierra." I said catching her off guard. She look like she saw a ghost when she looked up at me.
"Hey." She said back in a dry tone. Oh this lil b****. I never liked her lil fast ass since the moment I first met her. She gave me the cold shoulder and I gave it back to her ass. I finally found what I was looking for and walked away.
By the time I made it back to the pharmacy, the line was long. Damn Kia you just couldn't be patient huh. I thought about walking around a lil while longer until the line shorten up, but something else going probably happen. I pulled out my phone to text Kasha. I sunt her a message to see how she was holding up since the incident with her and Claud three weeks ago and I told her to remind me to tell her something.
When I looked up from my phone I saw the line was moving a lot faster then I expected. By the time I got to the front of the line, the lil b**** hurried up and put the now closed sign up. No tf she didn't.
"Sorry ma'am but...." "No y'all not closed. I been here fah thirty minutes and you told me you was going be with me shortly. Shortly turned into 10 minutes so I went get some stuff that I need. When I got back up here, the line was long as hell. Nah it's my turn and you going hurry up and throw that damn sign up here. Ion think so. I came to pick up a prescription fah Jerry Davis." I said going off on her ass.
"Hold on.. Don't I know you?" She asked looking at me with a mug on her face. That's when it rung a bell and I realized this lil restaurant.
"Don't I know you?" I asked with a smirk on my face. "Yea whatever.. look you trash, we are closed and I'm not going say it again." She said making me chuckle. "No you look here lil restaurant, I been here and I'm not leaving til I get what I'm looking fah. I'll pull yo lil stringy plat from behind that counter and whoop yo ass." I said making her mad. If she woulda just did her job she wouldn't have to go through this. Just like at the other job.
"Ma'am we are closed so you'll just have to wait until tomorrow." She said changing up her attitude as some white lady walked onside of her.
"Don't switch up nah. Keep that same fonky ass attitude you just had when it was only the two of us visible." I said to her. "Is there a problem ma'am?" The lady asked me with a concerned look. "Yes there is a problem. By the time I was next in line she hurry up and put that sign up talking bout y'all closed when I know damn well just like she know that if it's customers still in line, you still work until there are no longer any customers." I said looking at her.
I seen the look of fright written all over her face. They like to respect them white people, but can't even respect they own. "I'm sorry about her ma'am I will take care of her." She said shaking her head at lil restaurant.
"Chelsee do what you're supposed to do and when you're done closing up, I need a word with you." She said glaring at her. "Like I said previously I'm here to pick up a prescription fah Jerry Davis." I said smirking at her.
"Will that be all fah you trash?" She asked with a attitude. I chuckled at her and nodded my head yes. You don't get respect from Kia if you don't respect Kia. She came back up to the register, scanned the prescription, and then threw the bag at me. "Yah total is 15.43." She said with another attitude.
I swiped my card and waited fah my receipt. When the receipt came out the register, she balled it up and threw it at my head that she missed. All I did was laugh at her lil trifling ass cause she adding more shit to her name that's on my list. I looked at her name tag and nodded my head. "Chelsee huh?" I nodded to myself.
