Chapter 13

"Ooh, I will mom, I will"

Today was the day the cruise would arrive at it's first destination. We would arrive in New York today. Aurora was more than excited to see a big city like that and Ezra and I were excited to spent this with each other and with Aurora.

"Ready to see The Big Apple, young lady?" Ezra asked Aurora when he lifted her from the ground and swung her around

"Daddy! You know I don't like apples!" Aurora said and that made me burst out in laughter

"No, no I mean, are you ready to see New York?" Ezra laughed

"Duhh, I've been waiting for this my whole life!"

"You've been waiting for this the whole six years of your very long life? I'm so sorry Rory!" I laughed and walked to her and Ezra

"That's a loooong time mommy" Aurora giggled

"Oh sure honey, that's a looong time" I laughed and grabbed our backpack

"Three musketeers, we have to go!" Mike yelled from the other side of the door

"Let's go on an adventure!" Ezra smiled

"Mommy! Mommy New York is beautiful!" Aurora yelled. We were standing in the middle of the city, and indeed, it was beautiful.

"It is indeed honey, it really is" I smiled and grabbed her hand.

"Rory, never let go of Mike's, Ella's, Byron's or Mommy's hand do you understand me?" Ezra asked and knelt down next to the little girl so he was eye level with her.

"Yes daddy and I can't talk to strangers!"

"Good girl" Ezra smiled

"Do you want to see Central Park?" I asked and Ezra nodded

"Yeah sure"

"Let's go then" I smiled. I grabbed Rory's hand, Ezra grabbed her other hand and so we walked with the whole family to Central Park. When we arrived there, mom opened the picnic basket and spread out the food.

"So, I brought everyone an big apple" mom laughed

"I don't eat apples granny!"

"I know honey, that's why I brought you a pear"

"You're the best granny!" Aurora smiled and took a bite from her pear. After everyone had enough to eat we walked back into the big city.

"I reaally need to go to Sephora" I sighed when we walked past the store

"Why don't go then?" Mom asked

"Do you really need to go?" Ezra groaned

"After our daughter ate my red lipstick, yes I need to go" I laughed

"Sorry mommy but I thought it was candy!" Aurora yelled

"Ezra, I will go to the shop with her, I won't punish you" mom said and he, dad and Mike let out a sigh in relief.

"Rory wants to go with daddy!" Aurora yelled. I knelt down next to her, grabbed her hand and placed a kiss on her cheek.

"Go with daddy, but remember, never let go of daddy's hand!"

"And you go with granny, but remember, buy me that pink lipgloss!"

"Why? So you can drink it?"

"I won't mommy! I promise!"

"And I won't buy you that lipgloss, I promise!"

"Mommy! Why not?!"

"Because you're a spoiled, sassy, six year old child!"

"And that six year old child is gonna be more spoiled by her father because we are gonna buy CANDYY!" Ezra yelled and that made Aurora turn around and run in his arms

"Have fun babe" I smiled and pressed a kiss on his cheek

"You too honey" He smiled, grabbed Rory's hand and walked away.

"So, want to buy make up?"

"Hell yeah" I laughed. We walked inside the store and it was amazing. So. Much. Stuff. I didn't even know what to choose! When we were done I bought way more then I was supposed to. I bought a new Beauty Blender, new foundation, a few brushes from Real Techniques, new eyeshadow and of course, a new red lipstick.

"So, that's enough I guess?" Mom laughed

"Ohh, I think it is" I laughed. When we walked out of the shop mom and I went to a few other shops like Zara, Mango, Calvin Klein, Victoria's Secret, and Forever 21. We ended, like always, in Starbucks. I grabbed my phone and called Ezra to say we were done so he said they were on their way back.

"You really love him" mom smiled

"Yeah, like I told you before, he's the one for me" I smiled

"I'm so glad to hear that, I thought he was trouble when he came back but the way he takes care of you makes my heart melt"

"Aaww mom you're so sweet" I smiled and felt my cheeks were turning red

"What's up losers?" I suddenly heard behind me and I saw Mike and dad, standing there with a big smile on their face

"Hey you're already here! Where's Ezra?" I asked

"Ohh.. He had to take care of something" Mike mumbled

"Something like what?"

"Damn Aria, you nosy? It's a surprise for you of course" Mike laughed

"Oh well I'm sorry I was asking where my boyfriend is!" I laughed and ordered a refill and Mike and dad ordered coffee. After a while of talking I saw Ezra coming in with a big smile on his face. He walked towards me and without saying anything, he pulled me up from my chair and crashed his lips against mine. After two seconds I realized what was going on so I gently pushed him away.

"Aria? I"

"No Ezra, wh-"

"Please just let me talk" Ezra interrupted me but I just shook my head.

"Ezra, where is Aurora?"
