Chapter 21

ONE MONTH LATER

"Aria, Aria wake up.." Ezra wishpered and shook my shoulder

"Go away"

"Aria..."

"Go away!!"

"Aria, come on.. You have to get out of bed now"

"Go away Ezra! I don't want to get out of bed!" I mumbled. I suddenly felt Ezra's warm body lay next to me and I cradled in his embrace.

"Aria! I need you okay? You're not the only one that's hurting. She is my daughter too" Ezra wishpered and I sobbed in his shirt

"This is my fault Ezra"

"This is no ones fault Aria"

"This didn't have to happen" I sobbed out.

"Aria, please, don't do this to yourself, or to me.. Please" he wishpered and placed a kiss on my forehead

"I'm sorry Ezra.." I cried and finally looked him in his eyes

"It's been exactly one month, and do you know what that means?" He said

"Yeah, but first I want to go to the grave"

"Okay, we will go there, but Aria?"

"Yes Ezra?"

"I love you"

"I love you too"

"I'm not here to tell you the surgery went succesful. I'm here to tell you you have to say goodbye." The doctor said, talking about the daughter of the girl and the man who were standing in front of him

"NO!" The brown haired girl yelled

"Wh- what do you mean?" The man asked and grabbed his girlfriend's shaky hand

"I'm sorry.. Aurora didn't make it through surgery"

"NOO! No Ezra Noooo!" The girl cried out and collapsed in her boyfriends arms. He quickly wrapped his arms around her petite body and pressed her had against his chest. "Ezra no!" She cried out. Ezra just stared at Aria and let the tears flow over his face

"No.. No that can't be true" he wishpered

"I'm sorry.. It's time to say goodbye.

You have to keep on being a parent even though you don't get to have a child

Ezra and I were standing in front of the little grave when a tear rolled down my cheek.

"It's hard to loose a child" Ezra said and wrapped an arm around my waist

"It really is" I said and looked him in his eyes

"All this crap we had to go through only made me realize how much I love you, I can't live without you" He said and carresed my cheek with his hand.

"I love you too Ezra" I said and suddenly I heard a happy, soft voice interrupting our conversation.

"Mommy? Daddy? Are you there?" I heard her say. My eyes quickly shot to Ezra's and he gave me a confused look.

"Is that?"
