*Joey's P.o.v*
"What are you doing here?" I asked my dad as he came through the door. "Where's Shane?" he Said, he sounded scared. "um in the shower. Why?" im really confused... "Your mom is on her way here, and she isn't happy about you guys. I'm scared she wants to hurt Shane, so tell him to stay upstairs, I'm going to help you out Joey. Your mom really should learn how to accept people" my dad said, pushing me up the stairs, so I wrote Shane a note, and put it outside of the bathroom door... By the time I got back downstairs my mom had already shown up. My dad was holding her against the door.
"If you hurt him, I swear to god" my dad said to my mom, letting her go. She walked up to me and grabbed my shirt "Joey. You are straight, you always have been and always will be. Understand me?" she said, then pushing me against the wall. I pushed her off me, but I was speechless, I don't know what to say...
*Shane's p.o.v*
I got out of the shower to see a note outside the bathroom door.
"Hey Shane, my mom and dad are here! My dad said you shouldn't come downstairs, he's worried my mom went crazy or something. Sorry, I'll come get you when the fighting stops, if ever! Xox-Joey"
Oh okay.. I walked to the top of the stairs and listened. All I could hear was screaming... I couldn't make anything out, but I respected Joey's wish and stayed upstairs.. Although eventually, the yelling fully stopped, for a little bit.
*Joey's P.o.v*
After an hour of yelling, me and my dad got my mom to sit down on the couch and calm down...
"you know what Joey. Fine, live how you want. But don't expect me to be happy about it. I mean, who would be Happy about it?" my mom said, not looking at me at all.
"I'm happy" my dad said from the other end of the room.
"Why? Why are you happy? Your son is gay. That's embarrassing!" my mom yelled to my dad. I turned around and saw Shane, he walked towards me and said "Should I just leave?" but before I could say anything my mom cut in, "no sweetie no, I couldn't possibly ask you to leave your own house" wait, what? I'm really confused now. Anyway, me and Shane sat down on the couch together, and he gave me a kiss, I couldn't help but smile..
"in what way is that embarrassing? He is happy! That's all we ever wanted, is it not?" my dad said, referring to my ear to ear smile when Shane kissed me.. " I'm glad he's happy, I just wish it was with a girl" my mom said. Shane instantly felt hurt. And I knew it, "mom I know, but can't you just keep an open mind? Like... I love Shane. And he loves me, and that's just how it is now. Weather you like it or not" I said to my mom, while my dad was sitting with Shane, trying to keep him from crying.... But I suddenly felt déjà vu when my mom looked over at Shane, grabbed his hand and said "Welcome to the family, son" me and Shane both started laughing because that's Exactly what his mom said to me. But we just hugged it out, and then it became a group hug with both my parents.. Mid hug my dad said "We should meet your Mother, Shane" we all agreed, and went to Shane's moms house...
*Shane's p.o.v*
I'm Nervous for our parents to meet. I mean, they Have talked to eachother,
Because I've known Joey for so long, but they have never met. I hope things go well....
