A week had passed since Walter and Ashley went to see If/Then and neither of them could be happier.
Everyone at the theater knew that Walter and Ashley were dating except for Piggy and somehow everyone managed to keep it a secret.
It was amazing that Piggy didn't know honestly. Janice was always going on about how that she thought that they'd wind up like her and Floyd.
Piggy was oblivious...for a while.
About 2 weeks later, Kermit announced that they were going to be doing a "Broadway Karaoke Night" to try and raise some money for a new soundsystem. Everyone was gonna be doing duets with each other. The catch was that Kermit picked their partners, they couldn't pick them theirselves. Ashley was noticeably disappointed. The second he said Broadway duets she instantly thought of her and Walter doing Best Worst Mistake from If/Then. After everything that had happened with Ashley's last boyfriend, she wasn't sure about relationships, but Walter showed her that not every boy is like he was.
Walter made her happy.
And that's exactly what she needed.
Kermit posted the list of who's singing with who and everyone charged at it.

Walter and Ashley
Kylie and Teeth
Leah and Zoot
Sam and Fozzie
Rizzo and Gonzo

Kermit and Miss Piggy
Everyone who was performing was pretty satisfied with their partner. Ashley was so excited when she saw that she was singing with Walter. She was also confused considering that Kermit was singing with Piggy.
"Oh well," she thought. "At least I'm with Walter."
