One month before Sans and Grillby dated, Sans and another monster had a competition with shots. The other monster with booze and Sans withe ketchup. 20 shots after the other monster had the victory.

Danny: Sorry Sans but i guess i won. Aye,maybe next time, eh?
All the monsters leave with Danny on their shoulders.
Grillby starts cleaning. Grillby:Hey, Sans are you alright?
Sans: What? Oh, yeah I'm OK, no i *HIC* feel *burp* amazing I won the guy.
Grillby:Pfft Sans. Sans: Huh? W-whatz so funny*HIC* Gri-l-lbz?
Grillby: *chuckle* Sans you didn't win.
Sans: *sad* I didn't. Grillby:No Sans,sorry. Sans:Oh well I didnt win but I think I should get a prize. Grillby: And what might that be,hmm?More ketchup? Sans:Nope something sweeter*scoots closer to Grillby* Grillby:*thoughts* Oh god is he gonna kiss me, fuck why is he so adorable?!?! *Sans scoot even closer and pecks Grillby straight on the lips* Grillby:*blushing bright hot pink* S-sans I think I should walk u ho-ome ,o great he fell asleep. At Sans house. Papyrus: Brother!! Where have you been I've been worried sic-Oh hello Grillby. Grillby: Hello Papyrus, umm Sans fell asleep at the bar so I thought I'd take him home. Papyrus: Oh thank you but uhh are you feeling alright, you're kind of pinkish. Grillby: Oh y-yeah I'm alright, good night Papyrus.
Back in the present:
Grillby: And that was our first kiss believe it or not. *hiding in hoodie blush shone through hoodie* Sans: was that seriously all real? Grillby: Yep swear on my life. Sans: Just kill me now. Grillby: C'mon you were cute. Sans: Why didn't you tell me sooner*peeks through hoodie* Grillby: Because I didn't know how you felt about me. Sans: You're too good for me. Grillby: Just shut up and kiss me. Sans: With pleasure. Author's note: That was great I had this thought in class and I was blushing so bad the people around me were giving me that what's wrong with her look. So yeah more Sansby smoochies later. See ya ;3
