Next Saturday, noon, Sci-Tech

My first week went by in a flash. Simmons was so much help. All my biochem classes are with her. I'm pretty sure I'll have a lot of work for this week. Hopefully, I'll have time. I'm flying out to Operations today. Usually, I wouldn't be leaving until after dinner, but I'm leaving earlier today. I'm meeting my Operations S.O. I've got one here too. Her name is Agent Kelly Graham.

Simmons is waiting by my door with Fitz. I'm only brining my backpack filled with some clothes and the essentials. "Have fun!" She says, giving me a hug. "You'll have to to tell us all about it when you get back!" I give Fitz a hug, and promise to tell them every little detail. "Bye guys!"

I head out to the airfield, and with that, I'm off. I'm pretty sure Operations isn't that far, but it feels like forever. I'm so nervous. This might be the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Even harder than moving to America.

Finally, we land. It's only been about an hour. I've been working on some assignments from various professors. Fury is waiting on the airstrip with a tall, black haired man who looks very grumpy at the moment.

"Rose, welcome to Operations." Fury nods. "This is your S.O., Grant Ward." The tall man still looks very unhappy. I shift my bag to the opposite shoulder and stick out my hand. Good first impression, right?

Apparently not.

"I'll leave you two to get acquainted." Fury says, walking off and leaving me with this Ward guy.

"Hi. I'm-" I start awkwardly.

"You're Rose Brynn, age 13, orphaned at age 10, lived in England up until two years ago, when the orphanage transferred you here. Top student in your school, popular, have a high school diploma, athlete, specifically volleyball and track star, and Honors band student." Ward finishes.

"You got all that from one look?" I ask, stunned.

"Read your file." Ward replies. My file?

"Pretty accurate file, except two things. One: I transferred myself. Two: I wasn't orphaned, there's a difference." I reply calmly. "When do we start?"
