Birthday

"What do you want for your birthday?"

Really Nat, do I even have to say?

I told you once and I will tell you once more,

I want money and candy and a banana split galore.

I want vanilla ice cream with some chocolate shavings,

I want you to spend all of your savings!

I mean, I am your best friend, it's the least you could do!

Don't think that's being any less than true.

If you have enough, I would like a gift card,

To all my favorite stores, but do you really want me to starve?

Pay for my dinner for the next week.

And buy something to wear, something new, something chic.

Oh, and don't forget to get me that new ring I just need!

Don't interrupt! Your so full of greed.

Remember to get me my favorite pie.

The one with chocolate, and kiss it goodbye,

Sry girl I'm not sharing.

But it is my birthday after all, you could at least be a little caring.

Oh I almost forgot, one more thing.

Hire a band in which I can sing.
