- CHAPTER 1 - Unordinary

Damn, you hate school. But one thing was good about today - the start of summer. Today was June 13, the last day of school, and you could not be happier. No more homework, no more waking up early, no more bullies.

You get off the bus, and run towards your house. You must've run too fast, your white shoe lace came untied, and you tripped over it, making your hand bleed. "Shit..." You mumble under your breath. Not the best start to summer. Not the worst though, the bullies could've followed you home again.

You walk into you house. Yay! No ones home!

You quickly run to the bathroom. You rummage through the cupboards where you keep the bandages. Once you find one, you put it on and head to your room. It's a clear band aid, and you can see the dark red blood spread across the bandage slowly.

You walk into your room, almost tripping over a pile of clothes lying on the ground. Your rooms walls are a light turquoise, and the carpet is a light gray, stained here and there. Your room is very messy. Your mom always tells you to clean it. Your dad doesn't though, your dad died before a few months after you were born.

You take off your black jacket, hanging it on the hook right next to you door, along with a few other jackets. You walk over to your desk on the opposite side of the room, and open your laptop. You sign into it, and it shows a wallpaper with the Undertale logo on it.

You open Undertale, and it opens to the center of Hotland, just outside Dr. Alphys's lab. You know it's Dr. Alphys's lab because this is about the... fifth? time you've played it.

You guide your player, one that you named it after yourself, into the lab, after walking a bit to the right, there's a large screen on the wall with a video of your player on it.

After some dialogue with Dr. Alphys, and she explains about Mettaton, Mettaton breaks the wall of the lab, starting his game show. Except... the questions are different.

'Who's your favorite character in Undertale?' It asks. The character on the screen should be Mettaton, you know that for a fact, but instead, Flowey appears, with his creepy, angrily smiling face.

The choices say:
UNDYNE SANS
METTATON PAPYRUS

A thirty second timer ticks in the corner. You find this strange, but go along with it. Your move your soul over to the word METTATON.

Another text box shows up, and Flowey's expression changes. 'Right, right. I shoulda known that.'

Flowey's expression goes back to what it first was, and another text box shows up, this time saying, 'If you could have Mettaton live in your world, would you?'

Okay, this is strange. You know it's supposed to be Mettaton up on the screen, not Flowey. And these questions aren't what they used to be, you know that.

Another thirty second timer ticks in the upper right corner, and the choices read:
YES YES
YES YES

You slide your soul over to the "YES" on the top left.

Flowey's expression changes again, as he says, 'Well, obviously.' The screen zooms in onto Flowey's face, and then the game closes itself. You know that happens sometimes, but not here. You're really creeped out by this.

You open Undertale again, and this time, your save file says:

This is odd... You select continue, and Flowey shows up with a surprised face, and a text box that reads: 'Really? I'd leave now for your own good.' Then it sends you back to your save file and again, you click continue.

The screen is black and white flashing for a few seconds, and eventually it stops on black. The screen then fades into a room with just Frisk and Flowey in it, like the very beginning of the game, but you can't move your character.

A text box with Flowey fades into the screen, with Flowey having his creepy, angrily smiling face. The text box reads, 'You IDIOT. You IGNORED my warnings?'

The text box closes, and another one opens, this time reading, 'You don't know what you've just gotten yourself into, kid. I'll RUIN your entire LIFE!'

The text box closes, and again, another opens, saying, 'You said your favorite character was Mettaton, right? Well, see how you like him when you have to hide him from everyone you know...'

And again, that text box closes, and the screen fades to black again. Slowly, a picture of Mettaton EX comes onto the screen. A text box from Flowey opens, and says, 'You IDIOT....'

The text box doesn't close, but it doesn't say anything for a while, but after about half a minute, it violently shakes, making it almost unreadable, and says, 'NO ONE MESSES WITH ME!'

The game closes itself again. And you just stare at your computer for a while.

What was that? That has never happened before, and you haven't heard of it happening to anyone else before. You're really creeped out by this. You continue to stare at your computer, dumbfounded.

After about three minutes, Undertale opens itself back up. Immediately, Mettaton EX is onscreen, and a text box from Flowey reads, 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH...' Going on and on and on, with a picture of Mettaton EX in the background, very slowly fading away.

When the picture of Mettaton has faded away completely, the text box with 'HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH' finally stops.

Again, a picture of Flowey and Frisk comes onscreen like what had happened at the beginning of the game, and Flowey just stands there creepily, but instead of staring at Frisk, it's staring at you.

You stare at Flowey back. You're genuinely scared, and you haven't been scared by Flowey at all before. I know, surprising.

Slowly the sprite Frisk fades away, and is replaced by a picture of you, from about a minute ago, staring at Flowey.

"Oh my God" was all you could think. Your laptop didn't have an inner camera, it had an outer one. How did he get that picture of you? The game closes itself again.

You hear something loudly rustling behind you. You feel shivers roll down your spine.

"I'm just being paranoid. I'm gonna look back and see that nothing is there..." Is what you try to tell yourself, but somehow you know that that is not true.

You slowly turn around in your gray spinning chair, and when you look behind you, you see Mettaton EX standing next to your windowsill.
