Yeah, I'm not even calling this a Mettaton x Reader anymore cause it really isn't. I'm in the process of changing the name. What do you guys think it should be? If I use it, ill give you a shoutout on the description and the next chapter.

You turn around and scream, drawing all your friends into your room to see the creature that looks way too ready to kill someone in front of you. Asriel.
Oh god oh god oh god oh god oh god. He's in his God of Hyperdeath form and everything. You knew Flowey could read minds. Let's just hope he didn't send Photoshop Flowey along with Asriel, and from what you can see so far, he didn't. You knew they were technically the same person, but none of anything that has occurred in the past few days have been anything logical.
But that doesn't stop Asriel from trying to kill everyone, but he doesn't seem able to take everyone's souls like he used to be able to, and if he is, for some reason, he's not.
You enter a battle with Asriel. It's just like the game: A black space with the options:
FIGHT ACT ITEM SPARE
You struggle to remember how you beat Asriel in the first place. Actually, did you ever? Your memory of Undertale suddenly feels like it left completely, but you remember that they're here. You don't know who they are, but they're here.
Being in the battle is strange. Asriel is right in front of you, but he can't fight you, at least not right now. Also, it's just like the game, a black space with just you and the opponent. You used to think you could've at least seen your surroundings and the people around you. Is this what Frisk always had to do? This gives you an uneasy feeling.
You make it up as you go. Selecting random functions, not remembering what they used to do. You tried fighting him several times before realizing it wouldn't work. You're on the verge of dying, when you finally think you've learned how to dodge his attacks.
You keep acting. You're not even sure what "acting" does. But you have a feeling that you used to.
Eventually, just like in the game, Asriel takes all your friends' souls. You can see him killing them. Except they're not dead, yet. You can save them. You hear a voice that is not your own inside your head. How do you save them, though?
You try to reach your save file. Maybe, with what little power you have left, you can save something else.
All of a sudden the act button changes from saying "act" to saying "save". The box also changes to rainbow, and you assume that it is like that to make you assume you're supposed to "save".
You choose "save". It takes you to a list of all your friends that you met, the ones from Undertale and Willow. You recognize Willow's name, but you don't recognize any of the characters' names, so you decide to click on the word "Willow".
You reached out to Asriel's soul and called out to your friends. They're in there somewhere, aren't they? Within the depths of Asriel's soul, somethings resonating! The lost soul appeared.
In front of you, stand a pixelated version of your best friend, Willow, with large moving white boxes covering her face.
More choices appear in the act section:
