The Traitor (A Star Trek Fanfic)

The Mission

"Okay guys! I want Spock and the new girl... Uhh."

Spock leaned over to him, "Carol."

"Right, Carol. You guys come with me. Kylie, Uhura. Monitor us ans what's going on. Same for you, Chekov."

"Ay Keptin!" He replied.

Kirk nodded, "Good. Let's go." He stepped up on the pad with Spock and Carol.

Uhura stepped up and gave Spock a light kiss. I followed her movements but went to Kirk. I puts my hands on his face and pulled his head down and leaned up and gave him a kiss.

"Don't get hurt."

"No promises."

I noticed Carol glaring at me from the corner of my eye. I acted like I didn't notice.

I shook my head at Kirk and kissed him again then backed off the pad.

He looked at Scotty and said, "Energize." Orange started to swirl around all three and they were gone.

Carol looked around when they were beamed onto the planet. She was hoping now she could do something with Kirk now that his green eyed beauty was gone. She turned her head to look at him.

"So now what?"

"Split up. Don't go too far and meet here in 20. Go!"

All three split up and went their own way.

Carol went straight. She carried her phaser by her side, waiting for danger to come to her. She found nothing in the first 10 minutes. Then she heard a scream. It came from the area Kirk went.

"You fucking bastard!" It sounded like a shot. "I don't know who you are and I frankly don't give a shit!" Another shot.

Carol started to run. He couldn't die. She needed him alive. She ran to the place he was yelling. She stopped and found him sitting on the ground holding his arm.

"What happened?!" She looked in front of him and there was some type of alien. He looked human but had a white face and black tattoos all over him. She wasn't sure what it was and didn't care. She heard a noise behind her and aimed her phaser.

Spock stopped, throwing his hands in the air. "It's just me."

She put her phaser down and helped Kirk up.

"Captain, what happened?" Spock asked, concerned.

"Little bastard jumped out and attacked me. Broke my arm. I think we should go back now."

Carol nodded and took his arm and looked at it. "Yeah, that's broken. It's going to be fine though." She placed a hand on his cheek and looked him in the eye.

He stared at her for a moment before jerking his head away. He pulled his radio out and told Scotty to beam them back.

When they got back Carol was keeping Kirk's arm bent, so he didn't move it. She watched as Kylie ran up to him, giving him a gentle hug and asking what happened. Carol still held his arm but she tried to take it away from her.

"I've got it."

Carol gave her a look. "It's fine. I've got it. You don't know what your doing."

"Like hell I don't! Bones has thought me some stuff."

"I'm taking him to medical."

Kylie gave her a nasty look. "Mmm... No."

Kirk jerked his arm away from Carol, wincing at the pain. "I'm fine, Carol. Let her take me. She knows what she's doing."

Carol and Kylie both exchanged mean glares and she watched the little black haired girl walk off with the guy she needed to get.
