"Come on Jase we need to get this sorted!" Warrick shouted.

"Alright dad coming!" I said sarcastically.

I lazily jumped out of bed and opened the door, tripping over a pile of my clothes in the process. Warrick was standing outside with a stern look on his face. He was a very impatient guy.

He had been banging on my bedroom door for half an hour but I just ignored him.

"If I was your dad I would have knocked the door down by now!" He replied irritatedly.

"Why didn't you?" I asked.

"It's a nice door!" Warrick smirked.

I assumed I overslept, but when I checked at the time it was only 6am. It had been a wild night (Yes that's a Pun) and I was exhausted. I had changed into my Wolf to keep watch whilst Warrick was out of town.
He came back early.

"Great." I had thought.

"Why so early?" I whined.

"Because we need to train." Warrick replied quickly.

"Couldn't you wake me up at 10 o'clock?" I asked irritatedly.

"No. Now stop acting like a teenager." Warrick shouted.

"I just understand the importance of sleep. It relaxes you ya know? It's like yoga which could also count as training!" I went on.
I was half asleep still and had no idea what I was nattering on about.

"Just shut it and get up..." Warrick answered and walked out of my room.

"I'm going back to sleep." I thought.

"No you're not!" I heard Warrick shout out.

"Are my thoughts that obvious!" I shouted back.

"Well, this is you we're talking about!" Warrick replied.

I had given up with resisting and quickly pulled on a plain black vest and jogging bottoms.

A lot had happened in 3 years. Warrick explained to me about my heritage and how I could transform into a Wolf. Any other person would have ignored what Warrick was coming out with but I couldn't ignore the nagging feeling that he was telling the truth.

My gut was proven right when he changed into his wolf form. I was slightly creeped out at first but I felt that I could trust him.

I had been noticing changes in my body for a couple months before that day. I had been developing better sight and stronger hearing. It just fitted in perfectly with what he was saying.

I knew my parents had died when I was a baby and he again explained about how they died.

He told me about the moon savages. They weren't born with a wolf gene and were instead injected with it which transformed them into werewolves. As they weren't born that way they couldn't fully change into a wolf.
These savages were very aggressive and the only human emotions they had were hate and anger.

He also told me that I was going to change for the first time in a matter of weeks.
This meant that I had to be extra careful in masking my scent. Even though they weren't born wolves, they still had a very strong sense of smell.

In order to ensure my safety and the people close to me, I decided to go with Warrick. I didn't want the enemy to go after them in order to get to me.
After I ran away, the moon savages followed and moved to the outskirts of town. We had succeeded in driving them away from my family.
